Zhang has faster hands than Foreman had and is a better combo puncher who is much harder to hit.

    Noneck - Foreman avoided Tyson

Also Noneck - well he called him out but he didn't mean it

There's no doubt whatsoever Foreman wanted to fight Tyson and for some time.

I'm not out and out saying Tyson avoided him but i'm sure saying Foreman would have absolutely took him on. I remember it as it all went down.....both times now.

I think Old George is just too savvy here, he’ll tie him in knots at midrange then walk him into some fat shots when he gets frustrated. I think he hit hard enough to pacify Z for a decision.

I think both versions of Foreman beat Zhang by knockout, particularly the young one. Joyce and Hyrgovic are both good but they aint George.

It was bluster. Tyson had Stewart and Ruddock lined up before George even opened his mouth.

I find it interesting that in the Foreman vs Usyk thread, Usyks cruiserweight opponents were dismissed vis a vis Foreman despite being probably within 10-13 pounds of what Foreman weighed yet when it comes to Joyce and Zhang nobody seems troubled in picking Foreman to beat both men despite them being 25 pounds or so heavier than anyone Foreman fought aside from Mel Turnbow and more than 35 pounds heavier than anyone he beat that was world class.

It seems like a bit of a double standard given Foreman is frequently picked over skilled SHWs despite never facing any. If Foreman was being matched against Mariusz Wach or Dominic Breazeale it would be more understandable.

Wach would have a great shot at outlasting Foreman over 15.

Yeah - I can see Wach pipping Foreman to the post, over 15 yards.

Comeback Foreman should probably be favored over 12 I don't know about 15. He seemed to have better stamina.
