Could have sworn that was $29.95 when they first listed it. $60 is egregious. Ill take the mrs for a 2 for one parmi and couple of house rosès for that. Still have enough left over for a few rounds of keno.
Yeah, I'm the same.. Wont be paying $60 to watch tonight's card and hope it does terrible numbers and Fox seriously reconsiders the exclusive deal with those jokers over at No Limit. I believe that Fury will be in Brisbane tomorrow to have a look at Suncorp Stadium.
3 1/2 hours until the telecast kicks off Josey. I think 2 or 3 fights on the non PPV portion of the card.
Prelims start at 6pm on Kayo with two fights, then the ppv starts at 7pm Prelims Jayde Mitchell v Max Reeves Luke Gersbeck v Jack Moore Campbell Somerville v Isasis Sette kick-off the ppv
A summary of last night is that both mains were stopped prematurely. I'm all for early stoppages but I think the ref let the bright lights & 'big' occasion get the better of him. I'm starting a new job today so wanted an early night but if I was in attendance I'd be feeling short changed. Both guys may not have made it out of the first anyway but they should have been given the chance to try. On the plus side, there were terrific performances from Isasis Sette at Junior Middle & Ben Horn at Welter. That's right, the other Horn is off the leash & did a job on the National Welterweight champ. If the Queenslanders had backed their man, they would have collected last night. Sette's win was his first as a pro & against a very good opponent.
Good luck with the new job @Sandman_ !!! Yeah it looked like a disappointing finish to the night. Co main and main being blow out. Bommber looked in legit trouble but probably was more hurt from the acrobatics of the ref. Django just looked confused as to why it was stopped but I doubt he makes it out of the round.
I'm an Australian. Big fan of Kostya and by proxy his sons Tim and Nikita. Also been a fan of Joseph Parker's very promising bit disappointing career. Last night there were two very dodgy stoppages. One of them the ref almost tackled the boxer to the ground he was so eager to end it. Interesting but clearly boxing has set a precedent and it's just getting worse.
