Errol Spence vs Terence Crawford is set for July 29th (dis time fo weal)

Better late than never.

 

I always felt like Crawford would win.

But I can name a bunch of fights that I would rather see at this point.

 

I always felt Bud would take Spence out,, but now all these years later it's hard to judge at this point who has what left in the tank. If they fight, and it's still a big if, I have a gnawing suspicion it will play out like Manny and Floyds way too late fight . A dull, no action money grab.....

 

Ourselves over at team Bud are finally happy to get this over the line

My gut tells me Spence but who knows, should live up to the hype.

 

Went for Spence, but very hard to say. Probably going to be a close, controversial decision no matter who takes it. But what speaks in favour of Spence imo, is that Crawford sometimes has a tendency to start slow. I don't think Spence is going to fade ot get stopped, so Crawford can't afford to play catch-up in this one. But he probably knows that himself.

 

Spence probably put up his best performance in his last fight, so I think he is pretty prime. And Porter was only 1,5 years ago for Crawford, so, yeah, I care about it.

 

If the fight actually gets made and it gets closer I will get excited though.

 

Crawford has less damage and makes the weight easier and is marginally the traditionally slicker boxer

But Spence is the dogs and without any issues beat Crawford 7 days a week and twice on a Sunday

 

Seems anti-climatic

 

It's about God-Damn time. And it's on the same week as Inoue-Fulton so that's a plus.

 

They're making too much money on the easy fights. Should be said, though, that Bivol and Beterbiev aren't American, neither is Fury.

 

I'll watch it so will ALL of you. Admit it.
