What caused Tyson to bite Holyfields ear?

You might be on to something here... but I have my own theory (see below)

Only time mike tested positive for PEDs was after this fight. He blames Holyfield's ear, and in this case, I actually believe him. The ear was probably over loaded with HGH and test among other things, at the time it was bitten and that's how the drugs got into mike's system. The strangest excuse I've ever heard, but makes perfect sense once you understand the insane level of PEDs Holyfield was consuming at that time. Like a walking pharmacy, some said.

 

Cus taught Mike to be dirty. Ha Ha.

We got to replace the gaskets, need to seal them with Permatex.

 

Please cite all your sources of boxing greats and commentators who say Mike Tyson was never a dirty fighter. (Don’t count yourself as one … which will leave you with zero.)

One can be a knockout artist, a hard puncher, a great fighter … and still a dirty fighter.

Just like Mike can be a great fighter and a big puncher and also abuse drugs and abuse women. All of those things are true.

Among the things we know about Mike Tyson because we witnessed it and there is film to prove it:

1) He bit Evander’s ear off.

2) He bit Lennox Lewis’ leg in a press conference.

3) He tried to break Frans Botha’s arm (among others).

4) He landed illegal elbows against numerous fighters in close.

5) He hit Razor Ruddock low. He head butted Razor Ruddock. He elbowed Razor Ruddock. He hit Razor Ruddock after the bell. Etc. (Go count how many warnings he got in those two fights.)

6) Mike Tyson cheated drug tests by using his own baby’s urine and a fake dick.

Mike Tyson was many things. A dirty fighter was one of those things.

 

Mike Tyson threatened to eat Lennox Lewis children, although Lewis did not have any children at the time. For Shame.

 

Ha Ha. Tyson civilized?

 

So Tyson mistook and bit the legs of Lewis. Yummy, Ha Ha.

There’s, I said it.

Holyfield was dirty fighter to x degrees.

Tyson was a dirty fighter to x degrees.

These statements are not mutually exclusive or disjoint.

The feeling for some (and I’m not necessarily arguing against that) seems to be that when one dirty fighter meets another dirty fighter, both doing what they do - and there will always be one to start the fouling first - they cancel each other out in that regard - therefore no cause for complaint by either party re dirty tactics at least in respect of the match in which they faced each other with both fighting dirty.

 

I'm a good sport. Or trying to be. How you doing bud? Any time I hear or see the word "civilized" it always reminds me of the Marvelous one!

 

I think this sums everything up very neatly.
