At the time I thought he was robbed too. I was inspired by Dirrell's performance, and I thought he was hard done by that hometown decision.

GGG both fights with Clendiva and Kovalen Ward 1. 2 should be DQ.
No way you can spin this.

First Canelo-GGG fight was a clear win for GGG and the biggest robbery of all. It's the biggest 'big fight' robbery in recent history probably.

Canelo was simply more competitive than others and didn't get KD'd or KO'd like everyone else had. Then some boxer pundits like Liam Smith started fangirling on Canelo in typical 'alpha male' boxer style, which helped smooth over the robbery. Others like Malignaggi had it 8-4 Golovkin, like most. Canelo was hurt and also on his bike most of the fight. He landed on Golovkin but never hurt him. Golovkin landed a lot inside, more than people think.

Second fight, Canelo hypocrites who pretended Canelo literally circuiting the ropes dominated the first fight, also pretended Golovkin was retreating all night in the rematch so deserved to lose, when he never even touched the ropes and actually exchanged all night. Canelo had more PEDs by then, a new magical engine, and it was a closer fight.

Kovalev did fade a bit in the second half so it was easier to rob him. Ward fangirls were out in force acting like he'd 'figured out the bully' and other nonsense. He just managed to neutralise the fight more in the second half, without doing any damage himself.

The correct answer is they're all really bad and all those fighters were robbed of a huge part of their legacies and/or their titles and their dreams. I mean when you get robbed you get robbed and none of those fighters they were robbed against have ever or very likely will ever get robbed and certainly not against foreigners if they do.

Let's not forget Bivol very very nearly got robbed against Clenelo even though he dominated the fight and he might be next on the list of fighters from that region to join robbery club and get the ''sore loser'' treatment.

I had Ward winning. Imo both Loma and GGG clearly won their respective fights.

Come one now, Loma hasn't been robbed 3 times.

He was robbed blind last weekend but the other two I felt he lost.

GGG-Canelo 1: I didn't think was particulary close. I had it 8-4 GGG and it was as clear as day. You could probably find 9 rounds for Golovkin as well. The fact that Byrd had it 10-2 Canelo tells you level of corruption in boxing.

Ward-Kovalev 1: It's been a while since I watched it but I remember having it a close win for Kovalev, I still don't think Kovalev beat Ward as clearly as Golovkin did to Clenlo in their first fight. Kovalev did fade down the stretch but the KD should have sealed it for him and at worst it was a draw.

Loma-Haney: I had Loma winning but it was still a closer fight than GGG-Canelo 1. It wasn't a super easy fight to score for Loma and you can make arguments it was a 7-5 either way or draw type of fight. Unlike GGG-Canelo 1, you can't make any argument for Canelo winning, let alone a draw.

Canelo won 7 or 8 rounds in the first fight. GGG got favorable scoring by fans and media due to hype, him being the champ, and because of how the fight was fought. In the rematch, Canelo did what the fans craved, he fought GGG coming forward, took the fight to him and inflicted a significant amount of punishment on the G man. The 3rd fight was very one-sided until GGG mini-rally late, and even those late rounds could have went to Canelo. GGG gets so much preferential treatment by the fans it's not even funny.

The facts are that GGG failed to do enough to beat Canelo each time they fought. GGG fought well in the first 2 fights, he kept those close, but Canelo outperformed him on each occasion. No one expected Canelo to have the kind of success against GGG that he did, and Canelo deserves more credit for those performances. They were epics they should be treated as such. To claim that a close fight was easy to score or "everybody knows who won" does a disservice to the fight itself. If you wanna talk about a real robbery, if you wanna talk about a hometown decision, then lets talk about a real robbery like Froch vs Andre Dirrell. Canelo GGG 1 has been beat to death, with fans sitll living in delusion that GGG was somehow robbed despite him being fortunate to retain his titles by two judges who gave him very favorable scores in order to make that a draw. He was lucky to walk out of that ring with his 0 and as MW Champ. Instead of crying about how he was robbed of a victory, you should be very grateful that two judges saw enough rounds for GGG to have it result in a draw.

    1-3, 10-12, and 4, 5 or 6.

I gave Canelo 4 and GGG 5, mainly because of how well Canelo boxed in 4, and how well GGG did in round 5 down the stretch. I'm mostly undecided on 6. There wasn't much separation in rounds 4, 5 and 6. Each of those rounds were very evenly matched.
