I agree Jim, he needs to go up to heavyweight. He’s too gangly for Cruiserweight and his work is so messy. My wife was slating him last night, it was so funny. Especially after watching the excitement of Conlan just half hour earlier. It was a hugfest. Sugar Hill has his work cut out there.

 

He does seem like a very nice guy. Too nice for boxing lol.

 

I know @SeanB1 (good poster) said he thought Okolie was a **** person, however I don’t mind him. Was very magnanimous in defeat and it must have been a bit tough to take defeat from someone whom you’ve always been a bigger priority over in your gym. Took it like a gent. I think he can win the rematch, just needs some adjustments.

 

Agree, I really don't like watching him and all the hugging but there is clearly some talent their which makes its even more frustrating as he barely ever uses it! I'm not sure he will change but if I was being optimistic I would say now is the perfect time, with a defeat to learn from and still in the relatively early days of his partnership with Sugar Hill, maybe, just maybe we can see him displaying this talent with a more fan friendly style......slim chance I know!

 

I agree and as ever very happy to be proven wrong. We only see what they present in interviews. And perhaps he showed his true self in defeat.

 

It's worth remembering that I once bet on Audley to KO Haye. There's levels to this forum....

 

Bud I was convinced that Haye would beat Wlad. I’m just as bad…..it was little toe you see…..ruined the whole game plan

Anyone know why the Lawal-Chamberlain fight was pulled? Was really looking forward to that. Hopefully there's a new date.
