The answer to your question is, surely, no. Lots of various biases and such have been addressed by boxing writers and historians, but I don’t think this one can be strictly enough defined. I think it might be best exemplified (most recently at least) by the Pac and Floyd fan bases, who seemed to exist as much to throw darts at the other (Floyd fans at Pac and vice versa) as to root for their own guy, but, again, I don’t know how you’d quantify it. Works great as an echo chamber. However, for interactive dialogue, not so hot. Pesky flies that sneak in from time to time can be a big problem also - they simply can’t be trusted with classified information.
