You might want to check public opinion.

Red faced and desperate? And what was GGG at that time? Red faced and desperate, too? Both were exhausted at that point having been through a war. Two wins and a close loss in your fantasy mind. In the real-world, GGG has a draw and 2 losses, one close and one very lopsided but scored close by the GGG's "corrupt judging machines".

They protected Big Red from losing when he should have lost, mission accomplshed. They did it to Kovalev as well. Kovalev should be the first and only guy to defeat Ward.

Public opinion was more favorable to Canelo in the rematch than the first fight, more fans said Canelo won, more had the rematch a draw than the first fight, largely because of how Canelo fought. Public opinion was heavily influenced by distractions and factors unrelated to what happened in the ring. i.e. Byrd's 118-110 card, GGG's complainig about how Canelo fought the first time, urging him to fight Mexican Style in the rematch, then the clenbuterol scandal swayed public opinion further. All these things made it so fans were more willing to score in favor of GGG. Still, despite it all, more fans and media scored the rematch for Canelo (compared to the first fight, not compared to how many thought GGG won the rematch) based largely on how Canelo fought.

I'm not influenced by all that nonsense. I focus on what happened and on the scoring criteria. Which is why I scored the rematch marginally better for GGG than the first fight, because I preferred how Canelo fought the first time, but also recognize that given the public sentiment, he needed to fight how he did in the rematch or else he probably wouldn't have won given the narrative that GGG, his fans, and the larger boxing public made the rematch about. Canelo did what he had to do, he made the necessary adjustments to win. GGG didn't. GGG called for the Mexican Style, he got it but wanted none of that.

GGG was fresh after the fight with a little scuff on his forehead.

You didn't answer the question. Was Dave Moretti part of Canelo's corrupt judging machines? How did Dave Moretti score it for GGG 115-113 if he was according to you working for team Canelo? And if the idea was to ensure that Canelo would win without raising suspicion then why would they tell Byrd to score it 118-110? That would be the last thing you would want if your goal was to not arise suspicion of corruption while ensuring a Canelo victory. Your conspiracy logic about the judges simply doesn't add up my friend. This is tinfoil hat stuff.

And swelling under the eyes, a cut on the side of the eye, several marks on the forehead, nose red. GGG's face looked like he had been through a car crash lol.

You know the scuff statement was regarding the third fight.

He was fresher after the 3rd fight because he didn't FIGHT! He did next to nothing for the first 7/8 rounds. Of course he's gonna be fresher than his opponent if the opponent is the only one fighting round after round. duhh.

They sure are. And FYI we were talking mostly about the rematch, yes you threw in something about the 3rd fight to which I responded to. But the 3rd fight wasn't controversial like the first 2 which is what this topic is about. The only thing controversial about the 3rd fight was how close the judges had it, the favorable scoring for GGG.

According to the "corrupt" judges. 116-112 (still too close) and the absurd 115-113 x2 which you now cite as fact, the same judges you've been complaining about for 5-6 years now are all gospel lol.
