I saw it as Eddie conveniently choosing to lie and say he doesn't remember stuff when he knows it weakens his argument. He obviously knows he's in a position of power with OD so he can say what he wants whereas OD will need Eggie at some point so he can't afford to pee him off. Basically Eggie is a lying bully and talks down to fighters knowing full well he can get away with him. I don't see Frank Warren doing this. Yes Frank may not have the glitz and glamour of Eddie and Frank has had issues in the past when he didn't pay fighters which is absolutely wrong but I don't think he takes fighters for fools because they're uneducated, like Eggie does. Eggie knows most boxers are dumb and from a lower class background, so he's got free reign to say whatever he wants. He's like his father in that respect.

Not really sure what the problem is. One guy gives his side of the story, the other guy gives his. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. You’re right that you won’t see Warren doing this though, his interviews seem to be pre screened with pretty basic non descript questions without going into anything.
That's likely right. It was also ages ago and OD is doing well so just drop it and if there was wrongdoing from Eddie speak to him privately and get a fight out of it.
