Since both are almost entirely about offense and have explosive power, this seems like it would be a short but brutal war. Who do you think would win?

Bowe but it's a pyrrhic victory. That smash would ruin his life with that lack of defense.

I think this is a levels thing. Overall, Ruddock did relatively poorly against in-their-prime top quality fighters. I have Bowe winning this one by mid round KO.

I had to look up the definition of pyrrhic but it was worth it. Excellent post.

Dangerous fight for Bowe with his lack of defense, he also didn't really fight any notable punchers.

Overall I'd favour Bowe but it would be interesting to see how he reacts to getting caught by Ruddock.

Well to be fair Riddick Bowe run away from same Lewis that Ruddock fought, and he didn't have to fight a good version of Mike Tyson either.

Bowe's resume outside of Holyfield who wasn't big puncher is forgettable.

"Pyrrhic victory" is, if I remember correctly, something about ancient Greece where the king won with his army, but lost 90% of the army, so he declared: "one more victory like this, and we are lost". I guessed the gist, but I probably missed the details.

Riddick Bowe wins; Razor Ruddock didn't impress me with losses to Tyson, Lewis, Morrison...

Like most, I would favor Bowe to win but I think this would have been one heck of a good action fight.

I like this fight. Rock em sock em. Bowe prevails, but he takes lots of damage.

Good post. Bowe was a tier above Ruddock but since Bowe and company seemingly avoided punchers, a gives a bit of doubt.

Bowe always had a funny look on his face when he fought
