So recently i watched McCallum vs Toney 1 here was my scorecard BTW for reference.

    1 McCallum
    2 Toney
    3 McCallum
    4 Toney
    5 McCallum
    6 Toney
    7 McCallum
    8 Toney
    9 McCallum
    10 Toney
    11 McCallum
    12 Toney

    114-114 Draw

Now this fight was scored a draw and i also had it a draw aswell, but Toney for me looked like the better fighter overall with his much more cleaner effective punches. And he also had by far the best rounds in the fight seriously hurting McCallum in 2 rounds.

But yeah sorry for rambling on but can you think of any fights where a fighter won the actual decision but looked like the loser after ?

A few fights that come to mind are......

    George Foreman vs Alex Stewart
    Timothy Bradley vs Ruslan Provodnikov

You could make a case for the 12th round being 10-8 for Toney

As did Manila. What Shavers did to Ali however wrecked Muhammad for life. He might be alive and well today without Earnie having punched him repeatedly in the head. His brother Rahman turns 79 in July and is fine.

Armstrong after dethroning Ambers for his third title.

Decisions where the winner looked worse than the loser? Pep-Saddler II. Willie asked photographers to please refrain from taking pictures of his battered and bloody face after what may have been the greatest fight of all time.

Here's the face of another battered winner...:

Absolutely, mate. One of those fights where he put so much effort in, he was never really the same.

Joe Mesi beating Jirov. Won a close decision but Mesi suffered an injury from this which basically ended his career. He did fight some journeymen a few years later but that fight completely derailed his career despite winning.
