Floyd would never get into a ring with these two unless he knew beforehand a way to cripple their chances.
Regardless of Floyd's strategies for timing fights to his advantage, he's still beating everyone mentioned H2H. Floyd could hang with all the ATGs to one degree or another, let alone these modern guys who are excellent fighters but not anywhere near ATG level.
Gym stories are fun but as we all know, regardless of how great a fighter is, they get caught sometimes. It's due mostly to great fighters trying new things. If I heard about any modern fighters knocking everyone dead in sparring with absolutely zero problems, I'd say they need to find new sparring partners.
This thread is whack. All of today’s guys don’t belong in the same sentence as Floyd even if it’s hypothetical. Floyd belongs in the category with the four kings, not with these bums of today who have fought absolutely nobody.
Let me ask you this. Who in recent history has given quicker rematches to their toughest fights (maidana, Castillo) than Mayweather?
None of todays guys belong with Pac or Floyd. Canelo and Loma are the closest and they are a step or two below. Crawford and Spence are near retirement and their resumes are horrible.
I think Crawford & Spence would be favored over him at 147. Floyd didn't punch hard at that weight and I think would have issues with prime big WWs like that. Floyd's peak weight was 135, and he was an ATG at 140 as well. Best fantasy matchup for Floyd is Duran @ 135.
A 40yr old Manny Pacquiao whooped a 30yr old Keith Thurman, a 36 yr old Floyd Mayweather whooped a 23 yr old Canelo Alvarez so yeah prime for prime Floyd would whoop all these guys
