Floyd was im grave danger versus 38 year old Mosley especially for the 2nd punch, the right hook, Floyd was badly hurt. Let 30 year old Mosley be in that position and things mightve proceeded differently.

Dont get it twisted though. I loved that fight. Floyd got rocked twice in round 2 and won every round after and walked Mosley down - brilliant stuff. But - being objective - things could've been dicey had Mosley not been 38...just sayin

Styles make fights. Nobody thought Floyd would toy w Canelo the way he did - and it was BRILLIANT. And while Canelo wasnt yet prime he was close enough where a 11-1/10-2 wash shouldnt have been the case.

Any Manny beats any Keith. I was never high on Thurman. Dude almost lost to Collazo and Josesito Lopez. And he had fringe wins over Garcia and Porter. Thurman has done zero else in his career.

Few fighters in history - if any - run that gambit of fighters 1 after the next without losing at least once. That's the reality. But Floyd would be among the favorites to do it (although the most likely candidates would be SRR, SRL, Duran, etc.)

As I recall Floyds knees knocked against each other when he buckled haha. However, to his credit he held on for dear life, recovered and went on to defeat Mosley.

On thread I see Crawford, Shakur, Tank and Spence being the only ones who have a shot at beating Floyd. I’d favor Spence the most because his style/timing is awkward and he has a size advantage.

Styles make fights. Mayweather never faced anyone with longer arms than him at 147+ for good reason. Spence 5'10 72 inch reach, Crawford 5'8 with 74incb reach,

Charlo 5'11 73 inch reach. They'd be the biggest opponents of his career. Maybe even fundora would give him massive trouble

In today's time, there are no big names out there with many followers, they simply don't fight enough. The charlos take multiple years off, bud and Errol were at risk of making a stale fight. The PAC - may fight was marinated too but it didn't mean they had to stop fighting in the meantime!

Heck Manny fought Marquez four times in like a busy few year schedule. Maybe more idk but compare that to today's youth (or prime prizefighters) that's consecutively about 4 years in their making. Boo boo Andrade: does he even box, or is he wishing for a Charlie and a chocolate factory winners coupon to taste csnelos knits.

Tank stays busy, that's one of the REAL stars of the game (love him or hate him) he is a consumate professional with real skills and I could see Floyd wanting to fight this guy while down at 135. No de la Hoya s, mosleys, cottos, Manny ps, jmm, unless we're talking about Mosley jr, who was not as hungry as his father, didn't duplicate as much, is pretty much a part time fighter.

Even back in last era, a part time boxer like Mike Mollo doing construction STILL got big fights! Artur spilzka he fought , amongst others. How about bud and truth? 2 good appetizers to try while jumping into the pool. Besides bud and the truth, who else could give him a challenge at welterweight? He already beat Canelo, smart thing fighting him while he was green. I don't see Mosley getting dogged because he too fought a young Canelo lol. Maybe it's because he lost.

Heck what happened to the Peterson brothers? They fell off by the wayside. Khan proved to be a bust. Who else is there that could draw the masses in a superfight with Floyd?

idk looking at your list a 2nd time I saw the same thing outside of maybe Jermell/Spence who is there to fear?
    130. Valdez/Hector I’m assuming get stopped, 135 I think Tank get stopped also and Loma/Haney/Shakur get UDs fairly wide. 140 Teo possibly gets stopped, Regis and Taylor I can see losing a decision, Ryan gets stopped, so it comes down to 147//54 I wouldn’t pick bud in a matchup not fast enough not as good a boxer EJ a bit different as he’s a high skilled boxer who also has so much volume and size at 147 that’s a tough fight. 154 Mendoza,Castańo get beat, and Jermell is a tough fight slough I think Spence might be a harder matchup than Mell

I dont think Fundora gives him any real trouble. While it may be weird for Mayweather to fight someone with such a height and reach advantage, Fundora doesnt use his long arms well. He doesnt use his reach.
