Will Khyzhniak ever go "pro"?

    He has one of the most outrageous overall amateur records, but is 27 and still fighting in the "amateurs".

    Is their any indication that he's going to sign with anyone on the traditional pro ranks?

    A shame if he doesn't. IMO he's the only amateur boxer worth seeing the rest are just dancers playing tag.

    I'm a real fan of him but I don't think he does that well at the high level.

    He shouldn't. Amateurs can make comfortable money, too. Not millions but much better than working 9-5. If he goes pro, he will be exposed to the dirty business boxing is and be robbed once he's in a fight that matters.

    I think Zakharieiev might be the next real pro talent..might be.

    Of course...because amateur boxing is notoriously honest, and lacking in corruption....

    If you lose in the amateurs you go on and make the same money. If you get robbed in the pros, you're being called a bum, have difficulties finding another payday and get avoided if you're really good.

    Surely after the Olympics this summer he'll turn pro and be super fast tracked?
