I just bought a book about Muhammad Ali at the Wynn.

I thought I had read everything there is to be read about him and seen every picture of him there is to be seen but it seems I hadn't. I'm doing some research. I bought the slimmed down version that weighs fifteen pounds . The original version weighs seventy five pounds. Wow.

 

Is the book about Ali at the Wynn? (In Las Vegas.) Or did you buy it there?

And what kind of book weighs 65 pounds?

 

I bought it at one of the shops.

 

What’s the name of the book? Encyclopedia Brittanica? I mean, really 65 pounds for a single volume?

My A-Z Encyclopedia of Mongguy weighs about that much. Its sits atop a heavily reinforced bookshelf. I also use it to do curls. Great book for both the mind and body.

I’m going to Las Vegas in July for a conference. So far no boxing on the schedule there while I’m in town, darn it.

Not sure if you have time but Sonny Liston's burial site is across the street from McCarran airport, up the street from Sunset park. Davis Memorial Park.
Also if you go Caesars Palace there is a awesome statue of Joe Louis carved out of Ivory stone inside. They move it around a lot but the last time I was there it was next to the sports page.. anyway, 17 black, good luck!

Sorry, meant to answer this: I’m staying at the Flamingo. We got a great rate for our conference and it’s not far from the monorail and a fairly easy walk to lots of places on the Strip.
