Is it a duck if Haney moves to 140lb without fighting Tank?

Haney is undisputed he don’t need to crawl for anybody. If he really can’t make the weight anymore it’s ok to move to 140.

But it would be a shame because if they all fight it out at 135 the last one standing will be the absolutely man. Not just at Lightweight. Probably in all of boxing.

Haney is undisputed in his own mind. The real undisputed is Loma and everyone who is anyone knows it.

 

I don't think so. These 2 have been on a collision course for quite some time so it will happen either at 135 or 140, And it would still be a mega fight regardless.

Wait, but there is the Loma rematch!
Then there is Stevenson.
Then there will be someone like Isaac Cruz or William Zepeda.

There will always be the next guy in line. At some point Haney has to move up and he might as well do it now. He got a belt, he got the undisputed title and he then defended it vs Loma. I think Haney has paid his dues and can do what he wants.
(should fight Loma again tho)

Yep. Won a belt off Barrios at 140. If Haney moves up due to not being able to make weight, they can dance at 140.

 

Wouldn't be a duck because he looks like death at the weigh ins. It's a duck if Tank doesn't fight him at 140.

 

These two have emerged as the top dogs established at the weight, a razor thin decision sure for Haney but he still got it so of course it's a duck if he declines to fight him.

 

Davis had all he could handle in Cruz as well.
