Joe Louis vs Tyson Fury, both at their best. Today, 2023, 12 rounds.
    Who win and why?

Fury would offer him 70-30 on the grounds that a no-good midget like Louis could never compete with the Gypsy King. Then he'd stipulate it had to be at a park in Romford with John Fury as referee. Then when Louis declined Fury would call him a "fake champion" and fight Johnny Paychek for all the marbles in a caravan park

I heard a rumour the Saudis are gonna pay Fury 500 million pounds. It's just a rumour though

How would you rate Fury's punching power?

Since the fight is in 2023 I am going to give it to Fury on points. However, if the fight was in 1939 I would take Joe. If it was 1939 Tyson would be trying to fight every six to eight weeks or even more often like the fighters did back then. I think Fury is too mentally fragile and flawed to be able to be ready for a fight like this after just fighting a month or two earlier.

Louis really would be a cruiserweight by today's standards. So would Rocky and Ezzard Charles.

Tyson Fury might very realistically beat Joe Louis. But I would STILL rate Louis as the better fighter.

Not familiar with him because I don't follow the sport as closely as I once did. I looked him up though. The problem?

I don't like comparing heavies from the past like Louis, Marciano, and Charles against some of the modern ones because the weight discrepancy. They would have been small cruiserweights by today's standards. Yea, some moved up like Holyfield and Moorer and made it work, but comparing 184 pounders against the really big guys does not do anything for me.

Then let me explain the problem.

The problem seems to be that you don't know who holds the belts right now, or how big they are, outside of Fury.

If you would like to Google that quickly, then we can resume the conversation.

We kind of have to see more from Fury. Very thin resume makes it hard to predict. He could use his size and herky jerk style to his advantage frustrating Louis, he could overwhelm Louis with his size on the front foot, Louis could batter his belly with combinations downstairs before chopping him down, or Louis might prove to simply be flat out superior winning a convincing decision. Anything could happen.

What are you trying to say to me?? I'm aware of who Tyson Fury is. He's a very big guy. A fantasy matchup between him and Louis does nothing for me. Louis is too small for him. That's my opinion. What is it about my statement you don't understand?

Louis points if Fury could get on his bike like he can/could and take the body shots for 12.
    Bust up the greedy belly.

There is a guy in the division right now, who is about the same size as Louis, who holds three of the belts.

If Louis is too small for him, why isn't he begging to fight this guy?

What part of this do you not understand?
