Pinklon Thomas was a hardcore heroin addict … but of course who cares, Tyson wins anyway!

Tyson had sex before a fight in Tokyo … WELL OF COURSE HE LOST, HOW COULD HE WIN AFTER THAT? THE RESULT IS INVALID.

Every Tyson loss should have an asterisk by it on boxrec that says *had good excuse — so we know he’s really undefeated all-time, lol.

I'm not a Tyson fan. You're actually just a sad sack if you think Tony Tubbs' conditioning is the reason he lost to Tyson as much as Tyson's lack of preparedness was for Douglas. Your point is so week that you had to rely on guys who didn't cross paths with Tyson like Witherspoon and Dokes (but Mike beat their conquerors).

BTW Douglas was almost knocked out by a shell of Tyson.

Thomas wasn't on heroin leading up to the Tyson fight. You seriously think Angelo Dundee would be training a guy who was on smack? His preflight injury excuse is more valid.

Thomas went off the rails after the Tyson fight though.

What I'm saying is you should look at Tysons accomplishments in the ring under a more positive light. In automotive terms It's like you are knocking a Steve Morris engine because it doesn't have 4 turbos only two. That's not possible if you spend anytime around a built Steve Morris engine, it's a total masterpiece.

You are selling out to the negative narrative, which means you will probably never understand the power speed and agility of Tyson.

You're a Tyson nut sucker, don't even try to claim anything else.

If you actually read my post you'd know that I didn't make any comparison about whose condition hurt their chances the most, just stated the extremely obvious fact that Tubbs had problems with consistently turning up in good shape.

And then you have Thomas who had drug issues amid a lot of distractions (being manager and trying on a bit of a music career) and a bad shoulder according to himself. Tucker who gave Mike a good fight with most if the rounds being pretty close imo had a confirmed hand injury going into the fight. If we're going to bandy about excuses, Tyson is far from the only one with them.

I named them as guys of that era that had problems with discipline and consistency, something you haven't actually even tried to refute. Because you can't.

If they hadn't had that, I think that the possible comp very possibly would have been stronger. Quite silly to say that Douglas wouldn't have beaten Tyson if Tyson was better prepared and at the same time not acknowledge that some of these guys might have retained their titles long enough to face Tyson if they hadn't had those very issues.

Remove the fan goggles and you'll see that Douglas is quite clear almost from the moment he hits the canvas. Jesus, you twist everything as mush as possible in Tyson's favour but "isn't a fan". Good luck with that line.

This is entirely how you construe things in your little fan addled brain and have nothing to do with what I actually wrote.

I said that these guys had problems with discipline and consistency. Something you haven't even tried to refute because you can't. Thomas was an addict for chrissakes and Tubbs needed clauses about weight because he was such a notorious eater. Adress what I actually said or have the dignity to shut up.

Don't tell me tubbs hands were slow because they were NOT take a look at ruiz he looks a whole lot like tubbs but they both are deceptive in terms of handspeed and power and both have good engines...sorry I'm sure I butchered that name. Thomas had a drug problem yes but was still a high level contender, but so did Evander the cheat. You have now inadvertantly relegated Holyfield to the same place as Tysons competition that you like to bash for having discipline/drug problems. Logic fail.

Another sickening thing evander has done is he had the gall to use "Jesus" as part of his "clean" image and we all know now that was just a front. Pathetic.

Ok, so you did not have the dignity to shut up and still can't adress anything I've actually said, so that's enough time wasted on you.

And Holy's PED use compared to Thomas's heroin use.... That is good troling, I'll give you that.

What do you think the "D" in PED stands for?

Evander is a cheat, and I'm glad Tyson bit his ear, he totally deserved that.

Lewis went to Holyfields training camp to tour and remarked that the heavy bag had a tire about head level. Apparently holyfield honed his stealthy headbutting skills right there. As far as I am concerned Holyfield is no heavyweight champ, just like Lance Armstrong was not a 6 time TDF winner. Remember, he was stripped of those titles after it was discovered he was juiced.

Think Holyfield could have been heavyweight champion without the PEDs?

for the record lance won 7 tour de france's, and only haters think he should have been stripped. it's irrelevant either way because in boxing not everyone was doing the exact same drugs.

But if you are a dope and squander all of your earnings, then you have to accept that $20 Million dollar check to buy groceries. I don't know about you but I have lived very practical my whole life, needs are bought, wants are saved for, our parents were from the Great Depression era, we learned to take care of our money from an early age, not to waste it on frivolous things, boring, probably, but I am not here to impress or to be used by anybody, we learned the pitfalls of life, we taught our 22 year old son the same thing. If you toss your money away you fall prey to desperation, no sir I would never come back to some bloodthirsty fans, reputation in life or sports is more important, you cannot take all of your earnings to your grave but you can take your dignity, you are too young to understand, I still count every penny every month. I do not have a problem with my memory like you allege, I remember the whole conversation we had, I was joking with you about it last night.

That's right, my bad. Correction: he was stripped of all 7 titles. He also never had testicular cancer, that was just a front to keep everyone sympathetic to his cause. You know, the same way evander used Jesus. So they could dope under the radar.

Only haters? It was the UCI that stripped him of those titles. Are you telling me every one in that organization are haters??

Pro cyclists are on sometimes 10 or upwards of 15 substances at any given time. So there goes that argument.
