Of all the men that stood opposite Mike Tyson, who's the best that Floyd Patterson could have beaten?
The oppenent s will be the version s Tyson faced.

He might be able to outwork a one-handed Tony Tucker.

I think he'd beat Berbick. He'd be an excellent chance against Spinks but not quite a given IMO.

He could have a chance against most of them.

I see him maybe beating Mad Trevor, Berbick had a bit of a punch but I'd dont see him really troubling Floyd.

I'd give him the least chance against those 2 and Lennox Lewis

I think Floyd out points him. If Holmes could beat him...

I don't think Berbick hit very hard really. That's why i like Floyd.

Think Ruddock would be a nightmare for Floyd. That smash against a guy with Floyd's chin, bad mixture

The main difference in most cases, is not that the opponents would him, but that the fights woudl be much more competitive.

Yeah Berbick was durable, up to a point. He's a teeny bit ain to Norton in that he can takes punches from the likes of a Holmes all day long but once that power reaches a certain level he becomes vulnerable. Does Floyd reach that level? It's debatable. He hits quite hard and Berbicks style would force him to let his hands go a bit fighting him off.
