It's nice to hear that Don King is promoting an event. I hope that he enjoys it. Few people have done ( or don ) more for the sport of boxing than Don King. Don King deserves respect for his contribution to this sport. Seeing as he won't be with us probably in like 10 to 15 years from now it would be an honor to attend his funeral.

It's a shame how some boxingfans demonize this man. These are ofcourse the type of people who have never in their life done anything to better the lives of others, people who only know how to take take and take and complain. If one thinks about all the people who have been entertained from the cards of Don King, all the fighters that became millionaires thanks to him, those who became well off, those who managed to buy food for their families. Don King is truly a great man.

This is like what a YouTube Triller card probably looks like.

TKO2, finally hurt Smith with body shots and then just overwhelmed him, took a while but forced the ref's hand. Smith's tough but otherwise didn't have much of anything to offer.

    ...wait, so Rigo's next?

Oof, couldn't even make the co-main event slot on a Don King Promotions card topped by Adrien Broner in 2023? :ohno

King sounding like the Nutty Professor. I'm waiting for someone to tear off a huge fart in the background.

That was quite a gap...over half an hour between the previous fight ending and ring walks here, and there're still two bouts left to go after this (Ahmed Elbiali vs. Rodolfo Gómez Jr. is the co-headliner).

    Round 1

Rigondeaux commands the center of the ring, sawing outward with the right jab, elbow level with his pecs. Clemente-Andino tries putting in some probing left jabs but Rigondeaux nudges them aside off his lead wrist. Step-forward jabs by Rigondeaux. Quick left hand lead on the body gets Clemente-Andino scurrying into the ropes. Another left hand down the pipe just narrowly misses the head of a strafing Clemente-Andino, whistling past it hard & fast. Rigondeaux showing the high southpaw jab and then plunging with a left cross on the waistband or the sternum. Clemente-Andino not liking the way Rigondeaux's power feels, crouching away, using the full ring, floating a high defensive push-jab. Rigondeaux walks him down and shoots light right jabs into either glove to check them whenever it looks as though Clemente-Andino is thinking of punching.

    10-9 Rigondeaux

Well, so much for El Chacal mounting a late-career streak of KO1s. Of course, this isn't some Colombian tomato can Rigondeaux's own age like his last opponent.

The young Puerto Rican hasn't shown that he can hang yet, but he certainly does know how to survive a round under moderate pressure.

    Round 2

Rigondeaux is following, prodding with the right jab, unworried about his connect percentage, many ending up past the neck of Clemente-Andino, who is remaining in a leaned-aside shell. A chopping counter from Clemente-Andino surprises Rigondeaux and causes him to upend his own frontfoot balance for a moment, but he clearly isn't hurt as the commenatators point out. He resets and keeps slowly steamrolling forward behind busy but imprecise jabbing in multiples.

    10-9 Rigondeaux

    20-18 Rigondeaux
