@Serge @Drew101 - we have somebody with the initials C.C.A., who just happens to be wearing a vibrant sartorial ensemble into combat...this is a rare treat and opportunity to adjudicate the "CCA of CCA".

Another "watching paint dry" performance, indeed.

I hope to never have to watch this opponent again. Talk about a negative fighter. He makes Rigo appear exciting. This guy is gonna wear out the ring apron.

Rigo is at least trying to engage. This guy is just backing up and circling the entire time.

You know its high class stuff when KO2 is being commentated as ''took a while''.

    Round 3

Rigondeaux is moving forward nonstop, jabbing, headhunting, getting slipped more often than not but keeping his opponent from trying anything offensively. Clemente-Andino has shown he can wreathe the Rigondeaux jab with sinuous neck movement while in retreat, but his only counterattacks have mostly come in the form of hopeless flurries as they're colliding into a clinch, meaning he is thumping shoulder and nothing else. Rigondeaux only grazing with the jabs a small percentage of times, but - that is the headline. That's what is landing, between them.

    10-9 Rigondeaux

    30-27 Rigondeaux

 I meant that more as in Smith had been hurt for the whole round, nearly surviving an entire three minutes before getting waved off. But yeah...most all of the undercard fights did feel interminable.

    Round 4

Rigondeaux is starting to drop in lefts on the body as he stalks, and has found a way to get through. Clemente-Andino drops his elbows to screen out those hurtful left hand torpedoes downstairs - and that opens up a lane for some lefts on the head from Rigondeaux. Clemente-Andino now mixing in low dives to clinch with his evasive maneuvers. Very negative peformance by CCA.

    10-9 Rigondeaux

    40-36 Rigondeaux

Come on kid, have some pride. You have a 12-0 record on the line here, and you're in with a bigger name than you'd probably ever have any legitimate right to be. At least stand and throw some punches on the off chance you can score a fluke TKO via cuts or something to get your name in the history books. :nusenuse:

    Round 5

Rigondeaux is still rattling along, in unrushed pursuit, jabbing away. Clemente-Andino has turned southpaw but this has altered nothing in regards to his aggression or effectiveness. Clemente-Andino tries meeting Rigondeaux in the middle of the ring trading left hands and takes by far the worst of it, albeit partly blocked. He shakes it off and circles away following a clinch.

    10-9 Rigondeaux

    50-45 Rigondeaux

    Nate Campbell agrees with me.

"I'd rather have gone out on my shield than done this".

"If the bell rings and you can't even get to work, this ain't the job for you, baby".

Ray Mancini embarrassing himself. "The one good thing about this fight, is that it sets a tone of it can only go upward for the next two fights, which both should be slum-bum...I mean slam-bam".

He really should just let the others do all the speaking, at this point.
