You claimed it was the first time Dokes had been put out. I proved that wrong. Then you tried to imply he lost to Coetzee via exhaustion, i laughed. Now you want to add the clause "fresh legs". What's next? Weighing 240 pounds on the dot and having his hair braided? Show some honesty.

I'm not saying Foreman is a feather fist, but some can't countenance the opinion that someone outside of Shavers could have hit as hard or perhaps harder than Foreman.

Did you watch the fight? Dokes took a whole bunch of shots and finally fell over due to exhaustion.

It’s funny how this forum seems to assert that added weight and experience only improve durability if it’s Big George (bedset sold separately).

I watched the fight in 1983. When did you watch it?

Have you seen me assert Foreman gained durability?

Do you think Dokes actually gained durability after being KO'D! by Coetzee, stopped in a grueling fight with Holyfield, not fighting for 2 1/2 years due to drug addiction and being 7 years past his peak because he weighed 240 vs 217? Think about it.

Holyfield and Cooney never fought. Again your facts are
    as skewed as your opinions.....

Careful. He'll next be telling you he has a superior take because he was in attendance.

The thing that really stands out while reading this is that Foreman knocked out 2 different undefeated prime champions 20 years apart. Never happened before or since. Your analysis also shows how he fought plenty of durable, fresh, rated guys. It's crazy how beating Lyle who survived a beating from Shavers is somehow held against Foreman. And you're right, in the 90's he was an old guys fighting mostly fresh young men while Ruddock was a young man fighting old/shopworn men.

So you watched a fight forty years ago and think there’s no need to review it? That’s comical. Dokes lost because Ruddock hit him. There’s no other reason.

btw a great topic would be comparing Coetzee’s power to Foreman’s

This is undeniable, but it's not atypical when building up a boxer.

I've watched it countless times. I also read multiple at the time articles. As for reviewing it you are the idiot claiming Dokes had never been sparked before. How stupid is that? Best go rewatch it....or rather watch it for the first time!

Yeah Dokes didn't lose because Coetzee hit him. He was simply KO'd for the 10 count because he was tired

People are commenting on how “ padded “Foreman’s record is. Do they not realize that about 36 of Ruddock’s 40 wins are against garbage while the remaining 4 were “ ok “ at best ?
