Much as I try to stay away from hypotheticals, when you match the A version against the B version only one outcome is really to be expected.

Morrison had top notch power and speed and put his punches together beautifully, but he lacked Tyson's defence and chin and also trailed him in stamina. Any good version of Tyson would get the KO.

    What a head scratcher.

The guy who got obliterated by Michael Bentt in a single round versus Mike Tyson. Gee, I just don't know who to pick.

    Tyson KO1

After all, movies are movie art :) Morrison was never in the HW top 10 (according to ring magazine). Considering Morrison's chin, instead of the question "who wins?", the question would be more appropriate: "in which round would Tyson win?", and if it is Mike Tyson 1988; then it would be:
As much as I respect Morrison, mostly because of the issue against Foreman. If he had focused so much in every fight, and stuck to his gameplan so much, IMO he would have achieved much more in his career.
P.S. It's not wise to relax against Foreman.

Tyson by early KO you can't be a glass cannon with no defence vs Iron Mike.

This would be over quickly. The best Morrison could hope for is stunning Tyson before going out by quick KO

I think Tyson gets stunned but puts Tommy away within 3 rounds.

Holyfield vs Morrison is a better fight.

Morrison vs Holyfield would've been a FOTY candidate, we actually missed out on quite a few exciting match ups in 90s. Can you imagine the likes of Bowe vs Tyson or Lewis ? Lewis vs Tyson in 96 ? Holyfield vs Morrison ? Foreman vs Holmes ?

That would be really good, but again I see Morrison getting knocked around bad at the end. Maybe 8 rounds.

A more fair comparison would be Morrison's acting in Rocky V vs Mike Tyson's in The Hangover?

I definitely see Holyfield's hand raised at the end. But I do see Morrison pushing him to the limits.

Damn, what a fight that would've been! I also wish Holyfield fought Ruddock and Bruno at some point. Even Pierre Coetzer would've been a firefight!!
