Even ESPN don't want to give Loma a rematch. Their pushing Teo-Haney.

It seems to me that it is. You know Teo outlanded Taylor 2 to 1? Not close. Not even close to close. Teo way outlanded Taylor, and landed significantly better shots the entire time.

Yeah il take it on the chin, i gave Teo zero chance tonight, i thought it was Taylors coming out party, but i also had it 10-2 to Teo. Well fought, Taylor has hurt himself with trainer changes and inactivity but Teo impressed me tonight, him and Prograis would be a war, i still feel J.Cat is the best fighter in the division though.

You will be asking for Loma V Charlo next, how far out of his division do you want him to be?

If these ****ers cared for what is right, then they would want to see Loma get the Haney rematch. Soul less ****s.

There was a moment about halfway through the fight where Taylor threw a two punch combination and not only did neither land on Teo, they both missed by a country mile. After that he dropped his hands and got a totally defeated look on his face, and at that point I knew I had lost the virtual bucks I bet on him and became very thankful I promised myself a long time ago I'd never bet on boxing with real money

Sorry, I mistyped. I meant to say Haney vs Teo at 140, not Loma vs Haney at 140.

Can't call Taylor shot even though he went through some pretty rough fights. I was in the minority along with you who thought he edged the Catterall fight and he clearly lost here. Lopez hasn't looked so hot in his past few fights himself. That aside.. The sad reality here boils down to whether or not Lopez has many real "genuine" fans here. In different circumstances the type of comments he made would have been easy reasons for many of the people who rooted for him in this fight to go against him... But you know how that goes.

That's pretty much mine as well, though I edged the 2nd to Lopez for 117-111

Definitely a case of styles makes fights. Taylor is skilled on the inside, but Pograis fought him in his wheelhouse, you fight Taylor on the outside and keep him there and it exposes all of Taylor's flaws, for such a tall fighter he sucks on the outside.

Lopez lacked the clinching that Catterall had to shut down Taylor inside, but he had the shoulder and the counters and more importantly the powerful counters. Taylor felt the power and just feared to press like he normally does and once that happened and he feared to press the fight was lost because he can't box well from range.
