Strange cards of 115-113 Which means if Teo had lost the 12 th rd, it would have been a draw and Taylor would have kept his titles. Incredible since Taylor barely won 3 rds.
Absolute terrible scorecards bordering on suspicious. Anyone with a brain could see that starting RD 3 on, Teo pretty much dominanted sans a few moments here and there for Taylor.
117-111 Lopez. Lopez fought excellently and did what he had to do - full credit. But Taylor IMO looks done as a force at 140 - the signs were there in the Catterall fight, he looked weak, off balance with no fluidity or ring IQ, and Lopez dominated 5 of the back 6 rounds, with Taylor looking bereft of ideas.
9-3 for Lopez at best 8-4, clear win for Teo who went back to boxing like he did in the Loma fight. Taylor now beaten by Lopez and Catterall if were honest and in both fights his weakness on the outside has been exposed. If you can't keep him on the outside he'll grind you down, but if you can keep him there, he's beatable.
115-113 Lopez was just so was 116-112. Anything else - especially something as ludicrous as 119-109 - is just simply not a fair reflection of what happened in the fight tonight.
Taylor won the first 3 but then totally collapsed. maybe you could throw another pity round in there.
