Thats a good fight and tough one to call. Might become an unpopular opinion but Teo has proved now twice (Loma & Taylor), that when he fights at his highest level he’s top tier. Combine that with better high level experience, and being physically bigger I would favour him to win on points. But as always, Tank seems to have different power so he may only need one shot. Teo by decision Bare in mind I despise the guy, but you have to call it as you see it
That's the thing with Teo, you never know which Teo you're going to get. Like you said, against elite comp, he seems to bring his A game. What a hell of a fight this would be.
At 140 Teo beats him quite convincingly. I don't see this fight taking place unless Teo loses a few more times and his life continues to spiral out of control.
Teo is so impressive physically, he either looks like a Sergio Martinez or a Roy Jones Jr. In terms of pure athleticism! But, to me tank is the complete fighter, albeit tiny, he uses his eyes, connects cold on shots without looking and deliberately finds that kidney when he shoots to the body, especially effective while his opponent is in the exchange throwing punches. I would say: let us see who is the last one standing! Ps at what weight op? Would tank really move to 140??...Teo by decision.
Recency bias is strong in this thread. The Martin fight is being written off. Tank is smarter than Teofimo and unlike Taylor is slick and fast. Lopez will lose to him.
Yup, referencing several posts above me, although Tank is smaller, he's probably a bit more complete in terms of skills and fundamentals. Let's not sleep on Tank.
Teofimo and for him... remember that they avoid him at 135 because they know he would lose to him... at 140 Teofimo would completely destroy him... they say that tank has a different power... but Teofimo's chin is solid... He just received bombings from a natural 140 without problems... Tank doesn't have anything that Teofimo can't handle.. Did you see Ryan stun Tank? Imagine what Teofimo would do to him with one of those clean bombshells... probably I would knock him out
Harder fight for Lopez style wise. Tank is the better technician but smaller, I could see Davis' speed and defence being a real issue for Lopez, he's used to being the faster guy, if he's made to reach in and gets countered then he's in trouble. As Teo said in the post fight counter the counter and that's Tank's strength.
A Prime Lopez will beat Tank by UD. Tank usually starts slow in order to decipher the opponent and against Teofimo, it will turn out to be wasted rounds. Tank will be facing an opponent with faster hands and equally powerful punching power. All the measurable attributes favor Lopez.
Taylor did absolutely nothing in the fight and now all of a sudden everyone on Lopez lol Tank knocks him out
Kambosos beat that ass and he barely scraped by Martin, but tonight, he was in beast mode. Teofimo in beast mode doesn't lose to anyone at 140 (currently, not all time )
No one knows why it happened is that it hit the hill and that bothers you so much .. if it hits the tank what will you do about it?
