Not exposed, I think he's just a mentally and physically shot fighter, maybe those wars are catching up with him, as well as lingering doubts due to the Catterall match. He looked sharp and ultra focused early, then after a few spots of bother, he lost confidence, forgot what he was doing in there and mentally crumbled. It was actually quite disturbing.

A 16-0 Taylor beat a 24-0 Rougarou. Sure it was very close but the general consensus among fans is that it was a deserved victory.

A 17-0 Taylor went over to the US to beat a 26-0 JCR in his backyard, dropping him twice in the process and he may well have stopped him had the home ref not given JCR those long counts.

A 12-0 Taylor beat a 28-1 Postol who is still to this day is without doubt Crawford's best or second best win in 39 fights.

    A 14-0 Taylor beat a 19-0 Baranchyk

    A 13-0 Taylor beat a 22-0 Ryan Martin

A 10-0 Taylor beat a 39-5 Miguel Vazquez who had only lost once legitimately in 9 years since losing to Clenelo. Officially he suffered 2 losses during that time but one was a robbery. And Taylor was the first fighter to stop him too

A 9-0 Taylor destroyed a 15-0 Ohara Davies, the same Ohara who arguably beat Catterall in a razor-close affair

Sorry but you don't achieve all that unless you're a very good fighter and parting ways with one of the best trainers in the sport in McGuigan was the worst thing he did. His run to undisputed was much tougher than Crawford's and Haney's

Taylor is not a good boxer outside. He had a clear physical advantage and he couldn't/wouldn't use it.

Agree, that’s how fighters end up getting badly hurt. If you have no more than that left, mentally, let it go.

Listen to what McGuigan and even Taylor say here after the Postol fight. They said this in the early hours after the fight and obviously hours after me saying exactly the same in the RNB

Physically shot, nah don't see it, he's only had 20 fights, who's shot after 20 fights and at 32 he's not exactly old, should be prime or close to it. We've seen fighters have double his number of fights and many more wars and not be physically shot and it's not like he's been through murderers row.

Mentally shot possibly because the Catterall fight clearly still bugs him to this day hence why he ducked the rematch after the injury gave him a reprieve. But that still doesn't explain why he lost to Catterall. I know you scored that fight close but I only had Taylor winning 3 rounds and most believe it wasn't close but a robbery and if it wasn't a robbery then why is Taylor mentally shot because he must believe he won the fight. But in reality he knows he lost that fight.
