Fair enough, just one thing though, Nunes knocked both Rousey and Cyborg out in the first round and McGregor was never considered P4P no.1 to my knowledge, don`t think much of Rousey in the WWE either, lol

lol! Nunes smoked her in a round and battered Holm who also sparked Rusey, female MMA has come along way since judo experts just chased you around a ring and grabbed their opposition in an armbar, Jesus wept!

I wasn't saying she wasn't. I was just speaking in general.

Just curious. If you don't care about mma, why would you come to the mma sub forum? Just to trash it? I mean, I get that we all like what we like. But it kind of seems unnecessary.

    Katie Taylor
"Hurr durr! Katie lost!!! Try again!"
Well then, there is Claressa Shields.
Oh, and we had Cecilia Braekhus, until age caught up to her.

Inoue cleared out 118. Usyk cemented himself as one of the 2 best Cruiserweights of all time.

I was giving Rousey as an example of who reigned before Nunes. Nunes destroyed all top fighters in her division except Shevchenko but still got the wins.

Amanda is a big name in the female MMA, that is true. In a way, 35 is a good time for a woman to retire, could be even the time for some men. She had her great moments, the female MMA actually became very good in the last few years, and to be honest, is even better than the male in a way, especially the heavier divisions. But I won't miss any female fighter or the female MMA at all - saying it by admitting there are indeed very good fighters among them.

I did become a fan of Amanda's due to the way she was treated in the lead up to Rousey's come back fight. They were promoting it like Rousey was going to run right over her. She basically didn't get asked to appear on stage in the announcement.
All the spotlight was on Rousey and Amanda was left as some ugly Dyke that was to be sacrificed.

Then she came out and used Rousey's head like a speed ball and the reign of the female beast started and went for years until retirement.
I wasn't suprised in the Penna loss due to how Penna is a scrapper with no fear and Amanda seemed to be underestimating her in training etc and paid for it.
She showed in the rematch what she is then capable of when the fire is lit.

She hasn`t won that many pro fights the talent pool is very shallow, her best opponent was Savanah Marshall.

Um... there are only 14 female bantamweights in the UFC. And they don´t even list anyone at featherweight.
Don´t talk to me about talent pool.
