His WBSS performances were huge, the win over Prograis should never be forgotten, Prograis was and still is the real deal, the reason he still is and Josh isn't is hunger, Regis still has that hunger, Lopez wouldn't want that smoke.

Unfortunately MTK and Kinahan prey on fighters by offering them next-to-nothing management fees and send them to crap trainers to ruin.

Makes sense to do a rematch with Catterall next, especially as Lopez seems to have retired.

I can’t see the catterall rematch next even at 147. Catterall makes fights look messy/ugly. Does Taylor need that now? He needs to get back to convincing winning ways not a scrappy points decision type of fight. Would a fight with Burns in Glasgow be on the cards? Sounds mad but wouldn’t be surprised, seen on Instagram burns is coming back.

If not then Brook in uk would be big as Kell is a big name.

Sad to say but looks like Josh is done at the top now.he’s clearly not the same fighter he was post prograis.he was a beast coming up.big, strong, athletic, excellent footwork and hand defences but none of it is there now.Think he will move up to welterweight but he needs freshening and a change up of some kind to even compete there.

Agree about the mcguigan situation he was a much better fighter under Shane who had clearly built some kind of rapport with Taylor and knew his strengths and weaknesses..could you see Ben and Josh sitting having a pint after a hard fought win?..naaahtt

No, not at all mate and I have no problem with AJ, like him and followed his career closely. It’s just in my opinion what they have achieved legacy wise is vastly different. When you beat the danger men in the division, you do it properly which Taylor has done whereas AJ, unfortunately for him did not box Fury or Wilder, aka the other top boys, so his story is different.

As if he’s retired. He’s 25 years old, if he retires now he will end up dead or in prison before he’s 30.

It was inevitable. That’s sport. I thought he would beat Lopez. I think the result says more about Lopez than it does about Taylor. Josh is an awesome fighter regardless of losses. To go to America and take on Lopez says it all. Catterall deserves a rematch and I, as a fan, would love to see it again. Good luck to Taylor whatever he does. I wouldn’t bet against seeing him lift a belt again, whatever division he’s in.

I’d love to see that fight. Taylor for me, all day long, seven days a week. I love watching Conor, but that’s a really tough match at this stage in his career.

Would love to see this fight. Both very passionate and hot headed individuals, so build up would be tasty. A risky one for Benn.

McGuigan would have been putting his grandchild's school fees through Taylor's fight purse and Taylor would be living in rented accommodation listening to Barry telling him he's guna get a big stake in Cyclone so don't be worrying about examining those pesky accounts as it's all jumbley numbers.

Fella at work watched the highlights and said today ‘that’s twice I’ve seen Taylor now, he’s shyte’. I said jokingly what about his 18 fights before that and he said ‘not bothered about that’

Sounds like my wife watching David Haye as a heavyweight ‘I thought you said he was explosive?’ I tried to tell her how epic he was at cruiserweight, but it fell on deaf ears :)
