I could see his speed and power bothering Oscar somewhat. Look at how much trouble Shane Mosley gave him
An injured Lomachenko and Taylor who was inactive and was coming off terrible performance vs Catterall are not a prime ODLH.
As much as I hated Oscar when I was young and he was fighting.... Oscar was an outstanding fighter, top notch. Teo hasn't already proved to be at oscar's level. Oscar wins, no doubt at all.
Mosley would stop Teo IMO. If it wasn’t for Oscar’s skill and durability, Shane could’ve maybe stopped him or dropped him.
Man, people forget how how good Oscar was. Teo is good, but imagine a better, faster version of Kambosos with power.
ODLH sub-welter gets badly underrated these days. He and SSM were both straight-up h2h murderers at 135 and 140, even if their peak fame came higher.
People seem to downplay Oscar & his variety of skills, he was just on a different level for this present Teo.
But he did work behind a very good jab, which Kambisis was able to use with great effect against Teo. Hoya also had more power. The right that Kambosos dropped Teo with, would have more pop if that was Hoya. Throw in that left hook. Teo gets whooped.
De La Hoya has no where near the right hand of Kambosos especially at 135 or 140 His left hook is definitely more powerful
At 135 and 140 De La Hoya was undefeated and beat some top names including JCC. He didn't start losing until he finally moved up to 147 and, even then, he only lost to the best of the best in their prime. Cruz has some good skills but is by no means a best of the best type fighter. Oscar wins without a problem.
