Definitely been done before but so have most topics. In 1990 both men were in the top 10. That year Ruddock beat Michael Dokes, Kimuel Odum and I believe Mike Rouse ( or some similar guy. ) Foreman beat Gerry Cooney, Adilson Rodriguez, Ken Lakusta, Mike Jameson and Terry Anderson. Both were campaigning heavily to fight for the title.

It’s up in the air for me but I’m leaning towards foreman to a get a hard fought win somehow. Of course I realize he didn’t want to have to go through Ruddock to get his title shot

Foreman's chin would be tested against that Ruddock smash. But Ruddock would have his chin tested against Foreman. Depends on who is the last man standing.

Foreman sparks him . Ruddock would start doing that smash nonsense with his head stuck up like Christmas tree !! Left _ right from George !! Good night !!

I think this actually goes the distance. Ruddock went 12 with Tyson, I see the same here. Both men get their face pummelled. Similar to the Foreman - Stewart fight in a way.
Foreman gets himself a tight as hell decision, most think Ruddock shoulda won.

Dave Jaco has less numbers in the win column than the loss column. Which column is Ruddock in ?

He doesn’t appear in George’s column of loses because George made no attempt to fight him.

I’d go for Ruddock in this one. As much as I like George generally and cheered him on in his comeback, I don’t think he was that good in the 90s. Super tough and still hit hard, but slow. I think this was when Ruddock was at his best.

Ruddock already had plenty of washed up old men willing to fight him - one of which decked him

Yeah, I know. Surprised George didn’t want it (actually not surprised).

Was there an offer ? Was there a title on the line ? Did George need Ruddock to get to where he wanted to go ?
