FULL VIDEO! Chris Eubank SNR on Eubank Jnr, Benn, Hearn & more with Simon Jordan & Jim White! - YouTube
I literally have no idea what he's going on about when he's talking about Liam Smith, very odd. I think he gets all caught up in his thoughts and the only way he gets out of it once Jordan rightfully presses him is just to change the subject to a degree. I'm guessing Smith's gay slur is in his head and the mention of him brings up all kinds of thoughts.
Eubank Snr was awkward at times. Didn't even want to give away his training regime at the start of the interview, which seemed a bit odd. At least Eubank Snr seems well though compared to some of the videos of him a few months ago. Seems quite disappointed at how Eubank Jr's career has gone.
Wasn’t a nice listen, I love Talksport but they were putting words in Eubanks mouth trying to get him to call his son this and that. Found it quite distasteful to be honest, they know full well Eubank has had his mental health issues and they were fishing for a headline, I’m sure Jim Whyte at one point even said as much “that’s headline news right there”. Don’t quote me tho I was 6 Tennents in and giving my beautiful lawn its second feed of the day!!
agreed. I understand the show is after clickbait and you take it with a pinch of salt, but Snr’s head clearly wasn’t in the right place to be on live radio- They should have picked up that vibe 15 minutes in and cut the segment short.
Shame on talksport for airing this. Snr is not the same guy as a couple years ago. He has completely turned on Junior. It’s not nice to see this considering the loss this family has had. I think Snr is feeling guilty for focusing on Junior so much before he lost his other son Seb
I was thinking it was a race thing, which is why he changed track. Smith is the name of the average english bloke.
eubank seen as a saint he fathred lovechild denied poor lads existance it doesnt get any worse than that scumbag thinks hes smart hes not he just tries to sound smart was over rated as boxer to good not great
It just showed him for the narcissist he is imo. 'Cos junior didn't like him posturing in front of him in the ring and showing off like a nob showing him up at every opportunity he wrote him a letter telling him he's his own man and snr didn't like being told so distanced himself because he couldn't get his way. Snr is a classic attention seeking narcissist, always has been.
And whilst that's all true, he's quite possibly got some kind of mental health issue and exposing him for an hour with the radio equivalent of clickbait isn't particularly fair. I assume he got well paid and willingly did it but that's not really the point.
