IBO is a silly little trinket to begin with, but does this mean the end of GGG's professional baXXXing career?
GGG is currently no. 2 on my favorite boxers list but he needs to **** or get off the pot, Spence on the sidelines waiting to take his place.
He could at least faced the less risky Munguia or someone else from the pack, makes sense now looking back that he likely only took on Murata in hopes for another Canelo cash out in which he didn't even bring his all, Money has been the only priority for GGG for the last many years sadly.
I doubt GGG can comfortably make 160 anymore at 40 years old so if he does fight again it will likely be at 168 where he has no belts anyway. His name carries plenty of weight without a belt.
Hope he retires. GGG has nothing else to prove and will go down as one of the best chins in boxing history.
The IBO doesn't mean much anyways. He's going to likely fight Munguia next, and that will bring him a pretty good payday.
