I'm not even a Teo super fan dip**** & i'm glad you learnt some new words but if i recall it was you who saw the mention of Bradley/Ward in my post & came into rage quoting me looking like a weak *****, My post wasn't event about Teo's performance or the fact he blows hot/cold but i guess your more experienced in that term blow judging by you coming so hard to defense, If you don't like Lopez just say instead of causing yourself to have mini strokes next time puss.
This is an incredibly dense way of looking at it. It's the equivalent of saying that Broner and Duran were both 4-weight world champions, therefore, Broner is on par with Duran. It don't work like that. There is a substantial gap in quality of wins between Taylor and Froch, and also a huge gap in HOW they beat their highest comp. If you're too blind or ignorant to not see this, I can't help you.
LOL< Like it. The only one I can stand is Ward. And he has play to get paid more and more it seems. All the media stateside are usually paid salesmen, and recap of rounds pump the fighter they pimp for, and is usually the tell for the fix coming when homeboy is loosing. The hype and the pre fight form these wannabe commentators is a joke as Spence Crawford was this week. Chump change media money for tards with mic's most the time with a fighter towing the line for the big money. The utube gen are suckers for it. Teo, Bivol, and many more get bashed for telling the truth. Many like Paulie told the truth and lost his mic time for it. And today the media goes on about decisions and crooked judges as they put it in your face. Because the media is on your side, right? But the Bayless's and the Morreti's and the rest keep the scam going and they all are selling the suckers what they want, and we get people slobbering over Canelo today for the proof of how gullible joe public really is, just like they knew he was..
It's not Crawford hate, let alone ridiculous. I'm combating the ridiculous Taylor hate who is suddenly a bum despite the fact he unified the division in just 18 fights, 5 quicker than before Crawford had even won a world title, and his route to undisputed was tougher than Crawford's too. Rougarou, JCR (away), Baranchyk>>Postol, Indongo, Dulmore all at home Postol was not faded when he fought Taylor And when Crawford fought Postol he was 28-0, had six world title fights of experience under his belt, had fought six world class opponents, and had been 10 rounds or more x 5, including going the full 12 x 2 Conversely, Taylor was 12-0 when he fought Postol, had never fought a prime world class opponent, had zero world title fights, and had never been past round 9 Crawford stunk the joint out against Postol. He spent the entire 12 rounds on his bicycle like he was in against murderous power puncher. That 12 round stink-fest where Postol took minimal damage apart from a couple of flash KDs, one of which was a rabbit punch, ruined Postol? I can turn that back on you. Do you think Taylor nearly gets knocked out by a way smaller leprechaun Gamboa like Crawford nearly was? Crawford was out on his feet and a clean punch away from getting slept by Gamboa who has no right being up at 135. It took about a minute for his head to clear. Taylor was never remotely close to being hurt like that even though he's fought lots of big/huge punchers like Teofimo, Rougarou, JCR, Baranchyk etc. I'm not arguing Crawford isn't better than Taylor. He is but fact is his resume is very poor for a 39 fight vet and top 5 P4P fighter and his best wins in those 39 fights are Postol, Porter and Gamboa and Postol is either 1 or 2. Also, Teofimo is way better than anyone Crawford has ever fought and if Gamboa can hurt Crawford very badly and be a clean punch or two away from KHTFO then I'm sure Teofimo could do a lot worse if he landed one of his bombs on him at 135 or 140. Again, Crawford is a hell of a fighter and I'm not trying to argue Taylor is better. But Taylor has one of the best resumes in the sport for under 20 fights and he stepped up very quickly, was on a steep learning curve, and became undisputed and damn near cleaned out the 140 division sans one or two in just 18 fights.
The Broner vs Duran argument is such a reach by you. Broner collected belts in 4 different weight classes in the 4 belt era. Duran was in an era where there was only 2 and then eventually 3 and beat all the top fighters at the weight class. In the case of Froch and Taylor they both established themselves as the best fighter in the weight class but only won in 1 weight class. I understand your point about how they won but Froch was never undisputed and not even the best while Ward was there. If someone wanted to say that Forch has the better deeper resume then Id have no problem but it is more similar than you are making it. Also from a skillset standpoint, I think they are pretty similar in level. Definitely a worthy comparison
You cant blame Crawford for his resume at 140. You can only fight the best in your weight class at the time and that is what he did. If Crawford beats Spence in dominant fashion he is clearly number 1 on the pound for pound list. As far as a hypothetical Crawford vs Teofimo Lopez fight, I think Crawford is all wrong for him and would knock him out. Teofimo Lopez being such an aggressive fighter would play right into Crawfords hand as he is such a good counter puncher off the back foot. The huge reach advantage that Crawford has over Lopez would be very apparent unlike it was in the Taylor vs Lopez fight as Taylor has short arms for his height and only a slight reach advantage.
There's still time to be. Hes a great fighter and ambassador to the sport. I feel like he just needs those really huge wins to cement his status as a HOF'er. Sadly winning the belts just isn't enough now a days.
It's not about blame in this instance. Fact is Taylor has one of the best resumes in the sport for someone with 20 or less fights, it is very impressive to unify and division in just 18 fights, less fights than most world champions had fought before they even became world champions, and Crawford does have a weak resume for a 39 fight vet and P4P top 5 ranked fighter. Maybe, maybe not. Teofimo is clearly much better than anyone Crawford has fought and Crawford has fought very few legit punchers or KO artists. At 135 and 140 Teofimo possesses the power, speed and skills to knock him out. Like I said, we saw Gamboa whose record and KO% at 135 is trash hurt him very badly so I see no reason why Teofimo couldn't go one better. FTR, Gamboa has a tiny 65'' reach and Crawford was bigger or much bigger than those guys he fought at 135. That wouldn't be the case against Teofimo who looked like death on the scales at 135 and was huge for the division. Teofimo is better when he plays the role of counter puncher and that's how he should approach a fight against Crawford. I can only recall Crawford scoring one punch KOs like some of these once (Avanesyan) and never down at 135 or 140 This content is protected
He 1 punched KOd Idongo to become undisputed. Teofimo Lopez got dropped by Sandor Martin (arguably twice). Teofimo Lopez is better than anyone that Crawford fought (especially at 140) but Crawford should be a big favorite in this hypothetical matchup. Just far more proven, far more consistent, and more talented.
Yeah that was a body punch. I should've clarified that I meant more sparking someone out. I'm not arguing that a same size Crawford isn't capable of beating him too. But Teofimo is much better than anyone Crawford has ever fought and he's extremely physically gifted and people are acting like that it's a sure thing Crawford beats him at 135 and 140 and I don't see that at all. Those were flash KDs against Martin to be fair but Kambosos did drop him as well so I think Crawford can hurt him too Crawford's more consistent for sure but by the same token we've never seen him in against an elite fighter or a KO artist at 135 or 140
A Prograis vs Taylor rematch would be cool. That was a good fight. Prograis has said he wants the fight.
