    Lopez doesnt need an alphabet campbell soup belt, hes the lineal champion and all roads lead to him now.

    I mean, I'll give him some credit, at least he dropped a belt he has no intentions of defending in the near future. That's better than some of these guys have done.

    He also went the extra mile in trying to convince us this retirement is legit, so at least it's more convincing than Fury's retirement talks :lol:

    Please. Lopez's resume is much better than Fury's. He beat much better skilled fighters in Loma and Taylor. But, yes, both have issues. Let's hope these guys come out of it 100%.

    I respect the fact that he just went and did it.

    Not like Furys "retirements" where he'd hold the belt hostage for months while he waits for a new offer to come in.
