Terrible main event. Just a poor card in general.

At least Frazer is a honest guy. Comes across as a decent lad. :chuck:

That's because Hughie Fury while lacking power is actually a very decent boxer. Like the Paulie Malignaggi of the HW division.

I don't get the point of the commentators that Clarke got more out of standing in front of Wach for 10 rounds doing the bare minimum rather than pushing for a spectatular finish and building some momentum career wise as the headliner on a televised card

The credit I give to Clarke is that it is 10 rounds in the bank with his whiskers tested sporadically (which looked like on instruction for Wach to hold back immediately after.) 100% the only way this fight makes sense on the path is building on this, and having another 10 rounder against a credible opponent.

These UK cards, especially Friday ones are nothing but 99% squash matches.

Hard to gauge much from that as Wach offered next to nothing which isn't surprising given his conditioning. Would advise he hangs up unless desperate for the cash.

Sad that bums like Clarke and Wardley are given opportunities based on their nationality, while guys like Dychko, Jalalov and others can't get a fight to save their lives.

Sounds dreadful. Glad I read the RbR rather than taking time out of my work day. Thought Clarke looked like a scrub in the Olympics so I am not surprised.

    Thank y’all for the RbR.

I fell asleep after round 4, seems like I didn't miss much. Clarke is very limited, that clear to see, you can see why Joshua and then Joyce pushed him out of the GB Olympic team. He simply isn't that good, the fact he medalled at the Olympics was a surprise to me.

I can see him upset when he does step up and fights a live opponent. Even guys like Takam or Chisora might be too much for him, he needs to be very carefully matched up.

Hughie has had injury problems since around 2017. Before this fight i thought Clarke would KO Wardley but now im not so sure, a fully fit and functioning Hughie boxes circles round both.

Wardley would knock Clarke out cold, Clarke is sluggish and slow and has not proven himself in any segment so far and also does not possess significant power...

It`s easy to win a medal in the olympics, just got on the line and throw loads of punches, 3 rounds doesn`t really mean much, if you can`t win a gold medal it`s a bad sign.
