Benn vs Eubank - Nearly finalised

Pleased that illegal streaming is taking off; hope it eventually kills the current version of the business as it’s absolutely in the gutter.

Which in reality meant making a list of ever changing pathetic excuses, refusing to cooperate with the BBBofC, VADA and UKAD, then waiting for a enough time to pass in the hope the public will accept you making the fight somewhere abroad far from the reaches of the governing bodies.

 

Medium fry on both sides, bit of pepper sprinkled on one side....bit of salt sprinkled on the other.

 

I watch most boxing but not PPVs where I'm not that interested. I fear my son might ask to see it though, given the likely buzz on social, just like he asked me to get the last AJ fight against my will...

Apart from the Eubank fight buildup he can’t have invested that much in him surely?

 

Don’t speak for the rest of us. If people on here say they won’t watch it, they won’t. Fighters die in the boxing ring, let alone boxing someone on PEDs.

 

This is what I think has happened

UKAD investigated the failed tests from August - March.

UKAD felt they had enough to charge him in March.

UKAD are taking him to Sports Resolution at the end of June.

Reading sports resolution cases in boxing and other sports, Benn is getting a ban.

UKAD wouldn't prosecute if they didn't feel there was a case.

Eubank and Benn might have agreed a fight but it is conditional on the sports resolution outcome...which will be July/early August.

MR are doing what they've always done during this case....bluster the outcome.

Only way he gets away with it is a jurisdiction reason, I.e it being a VADA test.

 

Oh yeah I'll think UKAD will try doing him for failing to engage and the failed tests.

 

The worst part of this fight will be the build up.

Benn playing the bad guy, the victim of the system. Eubank Jr becoming a fan favourite and playing his part like a fine actor treading the boards. Hearn, crowing over the whole shambles.

Meanwhile the likes of IFL, Boxing Social, toe the line as they know the build up will do their channels no end of views.

It stinks and yet there's absolutely nobody that can stop it. Horrible, horrible sport at times.
