It's a joke. They induct pretty much anyone. Halls of Fame Fame should be reserved for the best of the best.
The HOF is a joke for sure, it's basically a cash grab and they have to pay dues. Its like getting a hollywood star.

I wouldn't bet on it. He doesn't deserve it certainly but there are so many similarly undeserving fighters in there there are no guarantees. I may be wrong about this but I believe the only lineal HW champ who isn't there is Primo Carnera. There may be a couple of others, but the vast majority are in. That means guys like Willard, Braddock, Jack Sharkey, Tommy Burns are all in. WtF. That's ridiculous, and that's just the heavyweights!! Don't get me started on the fact that ordinary brawlers like Ray Mancini are in there!
