Khan - dragged up to MW because Canelo said he wasn't ready for MW, comes in ring as big as a SMW.
Fielding - drained with hydration clause at 168 because he wasn't ready for SMW, already SMW size.
Jacobs - hydration clause despite Canelo fighting at MW for a long time and huge
Kovalev - hydration clause again to drain opponent. They also knew of his weight struggles, so this was even more effective.
Smith - tried a hydration clause but couldn't get it through as Smith was already dead at the weight
Jack - attempts the most crippling weight clause yet.

There's likely way more examples behind the scenes and with fights that didn't happen.
Has any fighter ever used as many weight advantage/draining attempts as Canelo, EVER? He must have the record easily.

What? LOL Canelo didn't drag Khan up to MW. Middleweight is 160 lbs. FYI that's what GGG did with Kell Brook. Khan dragged Canelo down to 155. "He drained him!" In fact, Khan tried to drag Canelo down to 153, but Canelo said no, it had to be above 154 since it was for the MW Title. Nice try though. 155 clearly favored Khan. Anything above 155 would have favored Canelo. GGG fought Brook at 160, which put Brook at much more of a weight disadvantage vs GGG than Khan was vs Canelo. Canelo was kind to Khan for fighting him at 155.
Boo hoo. Canelo was moving up to a new weight class. No catchweight, a not unreasonable 10 lb clause. You don't get drained by a rehydration clause. It's standard in IBF Title fights.
Jacobs agreed to a rehydration clause, but he didn't participate in it. Just like he didn't against GGG. Jacobs lobbied the IBF to eliminate their standard rehydration limit for unification fights, to give himself an advantage against Canelo, so he could not participate in it and still fight for the title. Against GGG he couldn't. Jacobs was able to politic his way to a considerable weight advantage on fight night and still got schooled. :deal:
Kovalev's weight struggles were of making 175 lbs, he was not known to blow up in weight after making weight, so the rehydration clause was not a factor. Once he made weight, he had no issue making the rehydration limit. Oh and once again, Canelo was moving up ANOTHER full weight class.
    "Tried" lmao
"Attempts" "Allegedly" meanwhile the difference between 168 and 200 is 32 lbs.
Sure there are.:eaea: Keep trying to invent more made-up weight advantages. In every one of these cases, he was at significant weight disadvantages and/or went out of his way to give advantages to his opponents.
Nice try, this was funny, but what would you do without me?

This is an incredible reach. Jack is at CW and Canelo has asked to get the title for it to be at180lbs with a rehydration clause. It’s perfectly clear what Jack is saying :risas3:

Well it would wouldn’t it? I remember a few months ago you were saying Canelo could have good chance at beating Usyk, or did you mean a Usyk drained down to 180?

And what is the point to lose a time with a complete troll like him?
Last year he was explaining how Canelo was robbed against Bivol, and that Canelo should have won, cause he was winning the rounds by landing to Bivol arms and shoulders, and that was counted as Scoring punches.

If everyone ignores him, and no one respond to him, he will be gone, or gone even more mad.
I don't get what is the point to wasting your time with a wall, as he literally repeat nonsenses, and always find a way to excuse Clenelo Robbery, fallen drug test or b.c. demands like this one.

Absolutely no reason to not have him on your ignore, as having discussion with people like him is a total waste of time.

As i said this is a good thread to see who is worth it of your time, and who should goes straight into your ignore list.

Anyone trying to even slightly defend Canelo over this is not worth it imo.

I'm sorry you feel this way. I thought I was having an entertaining and lively boxing discussion. While I don't expect everyone to agree with me, I don't see the harm in making my points and attempting to have an interesting conversation. I appreciate what Canelo has done in the sport and don't think it's right to make up rumors about him or to make claims that are easily proven false. If you don't think I am worth your time then I don't know what to tell you. I come here to talk boxing and make relevant points. If you disagree, disagree, but none of this should cause you to get bent outta shape over it. Just make your points, have a debate, if you want, if not talk about whatever makes you happy.

    "allegedly"
Yeah and we know it was perfectly clear when Floyd said Canelo wanted a 152 catchweight and we know that was complete bollocks and made no sense. People are taking Jack's word as gospel, I'm not so sure. I'm skeptical. Sue me. Believe what you want but it screams bollocks to suggest that Canelo wanted a 180 lb catchweight and a rehydration clause. Did he want to fight Jack with an arm tied behind his back too. In the same breath Jack then tries to tell Canelo to fight Benavidez. Over the top, not believable, of course ya'll eat it up. I don't buy it.
Well a few months ago I wasn't even an active poster. I took about 6 months off between Nov 2022 until about a month ago, so I definitely didn't post anything a few months ago which proves you're making up stuff. Par for the course though, just make up stuff about Canelo, make up stuff about me, say it, pretend it's real, rinse repeat.

This fight was a shameless belt grab anyway, so I’m glad it’s dead.

The orgs should refuse to sanction title fights at catch weights. The thresholds are set where they are for a reason. As it is, nothing would prevent a FW from challenging for the LW title at 128 pounds. It’s stupid.

According to Eddie Hearn, Charlo is the front runner.
