Idk if Inoue is better. Tank hasn’t been able to show his whole skill set, dudes never struggled in a fight besides maybe when he was injured against Cruz, but the size diff is way too much.
Loma was crucified on a molten cross for even politely entertaining the notion of potentially fighting Inoue down at 126 even though Inoue has a 2'' longer reach than Loma and isn't much smaller than him at all This content is protected The same Loma who Constantly seeks out the best and doesn't duck or dodge any style Has routinely been fighting giants on the road in a division he doesn't belong in who hold huge/massive physical advantages over him that no one else in the P4P top 10 is routinely giving away Who didn't move up because he was huge for the division and looked like death on the scales or was having to strip naked to make weight. He moved up because he dared to be great and is the definition of a legacy fighter Not only hung around in his third division but fought the #1 guy in his first fight at that weight and then immediately went after all the other belts back to back afterwards (sans accommodating his mandatory when one of the champs pulled out with an injury). He even jumped into a unification match up against Twink's best ever win just seven months after coming off a very serious career threatening shoulder injury and surgery to repair it when he wasn't near 100% and he fought the dangerous Nakatani just 9 months after coming off his second shoulder surgery IIRC which was a risky fight to take back then. And didn't duck or dodge anyone up at 135, including talking on the hardest puncher in the division Teofimo in his backyard (his only legit loss) after a 14 month layoff with a home ref and three home judges even though Teofimo was way bigger and heavier than him, possessed vicious one shot KO power in both hands, power which can freeze massive former undisputed champs at 140 and ice teak tough massive 135 pounders like Commey in a couple of rounds who weigh three divisions more than Loma in the ring. Most fighters would've ducked or swerved that fight like the plague in their third weight class. Teofimo was the power punching athletic phenom of 135 that Super Boots is at 147 only much more proven and accomplished than him. Neither Spence or Crawford want that smoke with Super Boots even though he's roughly the same size as them not way bigger and heavier Let's see if these same clowns keep that same energy for Twink for wanting Inoue at 130 The same Twink who Weighs a whole weight class more than Loma, has a 2'' longer reach than him, and is one of the hardest punchers in the sport who supposedly KO's HWs in the gym Has been ducking and dodging the best like they have leprosy since forever, most notably Loma, even though every single one of those fights he ducked or wanted no part of would've been in his country Who instead of trying to unify the division and facing the real world champions at his third weight dropped his fake world title he won up there like it was molten lead and ducked back down to 130-135 to beat up on 126-130 pounders and club fighters because those guys were ''too big'' Who slapped rehydration clauses on and/or catchweights on the only fighters he's ever fought at his third weight even though he was giving away way less weight and reach against them than Loma is at his third weight This content is protected
If only he took his losses with this much vigor, bowing down to his stepfathers and admitting they were superior rather than coming up with BS excuses, weaponizing a generation of fans to never man up and take your losses like a champ, but rather blame everyone else or act like they never never happened.
I'd watch it all day as both are some of my faves, I mean let’s be real there is no way Tank is making 130 imo
Amazing how Pac managed to do this kind of things as he moved up in weight. Look how people scoff at this. That's how Pac was viewed.
I love Inoue and I am not a fan of Davis but at 130 or 135 the Monster gets crushed. Even if Inoue's power carries to 122 and 126 he gets bombed out by Tank. It's not about how hard Inoue hits, it's that he won't be able to take Davis' power. Naoya's power may travel to 130 but his ability to take power won't, at least related to Davis who hits like 140 pounder.
I'll never knock a fighter for chasing greatness. Make it happen. Tank is naturally bigger but height & reach wise they are the same. Inoue has to look great in his next fight which is not a given. Power often doesn't carry up 3 divisions unless you are Pacquiao but speed does. We can only find out if it happens.
Pac is a lot bigger than Inoue to be fair, the size of Manny's juiced up head is almost big as Inoue's entire body.
