I don't think you know how A side works, boxing is a business, Jack was on his way towards retirement before the Makabu fight, his networth is 1 million dollars and he's 40 years old. He called Canelo out then when Canelo gives him some reasonable demands he declined. You think Jack is gonna have some historic run at CW or make millions in his next couple of fights? You think getting knocked out by some goof like "Chris Billiam Smith" in his next fight for peanuts in a Jake Paul undercard is the same as having a mega PPV bout with the cash cow of boxing? You think 20lbs under the weight limit is 'reasonable'? If its so reasonable why have at least 90% of boxing fans been outraged over the demand? If its so reasonable can you list all the other times in boxing history there has been a 20lb catch weight before?

 

It is if you're Badou Jack, we're not talking about Usyk here, Jack has been a career Super Middleweight from 2009 tp 2017, he weighed 177 pounds 2 years ago vs Dervin Colina yet it's outrageous for Canelo(the cash cow of boxing) to ask for a 180 pound catch weight? Is Jack really getting drained here or are people bitching just to *****? These "boxing fans" that you claim hate Canelo for whatever he does, most have claimed his fights are fixed and they're still mad about the 1st GGG fight. Nobody has ever asked for a catchweight at Cruiserweight because it's always been an obscure division that gets overshadowed by Heavyweight, a lot of fighters historically skipped the division entirely because it wasn't worth their time and more money could be made at Heavyweight.

 

So because a fighter weighed a certain amount 2 years ago it makes it reasonable to demand he fight 20lb under the division weight limit for his title? lmao fan boy logic.

RJ didn't ask for a catch when he fought Ruiz, he gave up 33lbs. Now that is going for greatness. I would stop blindly supporting a ducking Diva.

 

He didn't gain that weight just for the weight itself, right? It took him two years to do it. So losing it just like that, so he can face Canelo is supposed to be simple?

That is right - Canelo doesn't have fixed fights - he has corrupt fights, as you fix one with your opponent.

Badou Jack legit jumped from 177 pounds to 199 pounds in a 5 month time span, you're telling me he can't suck it up, stop eating fast food and weigh 180 because it would hinder him, yet I'm the one not making sense? Lol what? It took him 5 months to go from 177 to 199, these aren't Lightweights we're talking about here, the man is 6'1 you're acting as if he's the size of an average Cruiserweight, he was a career Super Middleweight, his walking around weight can't be more than 210 pounds.
