Exactly. Vargas is one of those guys that peaked very early.

From 2004-2006, during a 6 fight stretch, he fought and beat Mosley 2X, Trinidad, Soliman, Taylor, Quartey. Only weak name being Soliman.

Yet despite Soliman being the weakest name he gave Wright a tougher than Mosley, Trinidad, Quartey, did. Ok Soliman threw about 1000 punches and landed at about 2 percent lol, but boy did he give it his all despite having an ugly style that I didn't like personally.

Levels aren't the same as styles. Neither Shanne nor Tito could hurt Winky. Floyd's pitter pats would do nothing to hurt Winky

Winky would have impregnated Floyd, imo.

Sorry, his case is a little more complicated than that. He was essentially entering his prime, and his idiot handlers thought he could take down Trinidad, but he was clearly not ready for that fight, so they ruined him way too early.

Watching it I was surprised Vargas would be able to hang in there with wink all the way to the end even now.

Yup. Soliman had a very awkward, herky jerky style. He had feather fists but incredibly busy.

Those pitter pats beat DLH, and it’s embarrassing making something out of it, Mayweather once was a 130 fighter Winky 154 , it’s like saying Jones would had beaten Winky

This fight was never a realistic possibility...............

Every prime Winky loss was a close fight that could be argued he won, even against Vasquez (which you can easily find on YouTube)

Floyd wasn't exactly a big 147 pound fighter at the time though was he? This wasn't too far off from when Wright took on Jermaine Taylor for the 160 pound title.

That should give you an insight to the maximisation of their natural weights at the time.
