We know who Big old George, was capable of beating,, and who he wasn't.
But what about from different eras?
I'm sure some would almost kill the old guy, also sure that he'd beat some of the more classic Heavyweight s..

In other eras he would be dangerous but beatable. His power, size, durability, and underrated ring IQ make him a viable threat, but because he was so slow and heavy there'd be a surprising number of smaller heavies in the past who might be able to outbox him. The best version is probably from 89-91.

    Imo he definitely beats:

Baer, Braddock, Sharkey, Carnera, Moore, Berbick, Stiverne, Weaver, John Ruiz.

    Very difficult 50/50 fights

Walcott, Pinklon Thomas, Patterson, Mercer, Smith, Sanders, Peter, Ortiz.

Dempsey would've destroyed him at that point tbh. Patterson is 50-50. Norton gets chinned in the middle rounds imo, after outboxing Foreman.

I think Norton has the best chance, then Patterson, then Dempsey, who would have gotten plastered trying to brawl to me. Different strokes.

tough question. Im not gonna go too far back because it´ll become another size debate.
Joe frazier? maybe. Ken Norton. Hasim rahman. David Tua. Michael moorer. Golota on just pure willpower. Possibly Frank bruno if he tires. John Ruiz. Michael Spinks, but only if george is really willing to gamble to stop him.

most of the 80s titlists were better movers than tommy morrison and alex stewart. So i dont think he beats them

comeback Foreman had very dangerous veteran ring IQ, like the knockdown he got on Cooney before he knocked him out, Foreman was in the corner/on the ropes near the corner and Cooney was inside, Foreman slipped out and landed a right to Cooney's ear, I would say comeback Foreman actually had better inside game and would be really bad for anyone trying to get close and brawl

Patterson is slick enough he should be able to avoid it, but then again Liston, he would have to take a much different approach and use his speed to win on points

I think that at roughly the same age comeback Foreman could have beat Holmes

Probably not somebody much better than Michael Moorer.

I think that aged version of Foreman had the style and physical tools to POSSIBLY beat Marciano Patterson, Johansson, Ellis, Jeffries, Norton and a few others.

I think he was all wrong for Frazier at any point of his career.

He wouldn't have a cat in hell's chance against prime Frazier at this stage of his career.

You think Frazier would decision him? I don’t and he sure isn’t stopping Foreman. Frazier’s aggressive style gets him knocked out against any version of Foreman.

No, I think that Frazier would have handed him a stoppage loss.

Imposing yourself on a man like Frazier, is a young man's game, and Foreman is not young anymore.

How many times has Foreman been stopped? The only time I can think of was against Ali and “old” Foreman was never stopped. No way Frazier stops Foreman but we are entitled to our opinions.
