Warren and Arum must have some pretty incriminating stuff on the WBO president.

 

Frank and Bob gave the WBO legitimacy way back in the day - Paco Valcarcel will always do them favours in return.

 

I think the entirety of the WBO administration are animatronic. Bob or Frank just press the button and like clockwork their fighter climbs the rankings.

 

Only people they pay sanctioning fees too. Them and Top Rank keep WBO in business

 

Probably a good thing that Warren is bringing him along slowly as he's still very raw imo despite having 12 pro fights already. Funnily enough guys like Wach, who Clarke is already well ahead of in terms of development, would probably be a good opponent for Adeleye at this stage. Durable journeymen opponents would be good for Adeleye in his next few fights.

As for his WBO ranking, well, what did we expect haha when Frank Warren promotes him.

 

This is true as Oscar held their crap belt at 130 and 135 (until he fought for proper belts)

 

It’s a ridiculous ranking for a HW who hasn’t even fought anyone in the domestic top 5 yet. Hasn’t fought for the British. Let alone fought at European level.

Genuine European and World level British fighters aren’t included in the British level top 5. That means Fury, Joyce, Whyte, Dubois and AJ aren’t there.

Domestic top 7 without Adeleye is Chisora, Wardley, Massey, Clarke and Dave Allen, Dacres, and Gorman

Adeleye hasn’t fought at that level yet.
