Uh, he visibly wobbled Chisora in the seventh and almost stopped Joshua in the first fight. Uysk's chin has been tested by some of the best in the world in amateur, semi-pro, and pro fights. Joshua isn't a puncher, now? Dubois will be out of these in 3 rounds, because Usyk usually gives away the first two to time the southpaw jab right.
It's heavyweight boxing, anything is possible. Usyk is at the age where any fight could be the fight he 'gets old'. But I'd heavily favor Usyk. I would not even be surprised if Usyk stops Dubois.
Chisora tried hard and got schooled. End of story not even Canelo's judges could have given him the win.
Dubois is clearly not in the same league as Usyk as a boxer. Any chances people are giving him are based on his size and power. But Usyk had relatively few problems dealing with a rather better, similarly-sized boxer in Joshua, so it's hard to see the limited, immobile Dubois giving him too much to think about. A puncher's chance - as pretty much every boxer has in every fight - is all I give him.
Dubious has just as much chance as AJ did IF NOT MORE Only people who understand boxing get this. Usyk is not invincible he can be hurt to both head and body AJ is a bum bodybuilder dosser as no fighting instincts. Chisora did better and only has an overhand right which you can see from space. Everyone will get their reality check come December.
Everything is theoretically possible but realistically we will see an easy night for usyk and a pretty boring fight . Should usyk have any problems that night its not dubois strenght but usyks weakness.
Dubois is a 9/1 underdog which equates to a 10% chance. It's a mismatch in Usyk's favour on paper. But Dubois does have some advantages or potential advantages, which means it's not a complete forgone conclusion: - Much bigger puncher - Almost 2 inches taller - 20 lbs heavier - Less physical wear (assuming he's not carrying an injury) - 11 years younger (25 vs 36)
Haye, Bellew and Hearn all said Chisora won or got a draw. Apparently Usyk's manager was worried about Usyk getting a draw. And if you look at the RBR on this forum, several thought a draw was justifiable. There were a lot of comments on the internet about how it was a draw or Chisora won. Realistically Usyk did win the fight by a wide margin, giving Chisora more than 4 rounds was inept/corrupt. Many were taken in by the fact that Chisora was a wide underdog and overperformed relative to expectations. Morvidus is right that location and politics matter greatly. Had Chisora (for once the house fighter) genuinely won 5 rounds, he would have either got a draw or nicked a SD/MD in Britain.
The only real chance I can give nipple head in this fight is if Usyk has aged overnight. It can simply happen. As long as he hasn't and Usyk's the same fighter as he was in the last AJ fight, then I see nipple head going for broke early on as Usyk can be a slow starter, and maybe having some aggressive come forward looking success before Usyk then takes full control and consistently punishes nipple head to win a clear UD at the least. It could very well also end up in nipple head getting completely overwhelmed and punished so much so, that he quits or his corner pulls him out. If that ^ is the way the fight goes then it could have a massive career negative affect on the already nieve and very unsure Dubois. I feel he's already teetering on the cliff edge personally as to whether he's going to be in the fight game as a serious contender or simply a never was. It really could be make or break long term here for nipple head.
Joshua Joshua was a puncher now hes gun shy...He had everything to win it and he should have won. He lost bcoz hes ****** trying to outbox faster, smaller guy insteed of playing it rough and dirty. Moron. As far as Chisora hes c class fighter
Did you watch a different AJ v Usyk fight to the rest of the world!? In the first fight AJ was schooled in every department, he didn't have a clue where the next punch was coming from. Watch the last round closely, he was practically out on his feet. If there had been another round after that then he would have been looking at the referee's shoes!
"if there had been another round..." there were another 12 rounds and he still couldn't crack an egg. USKY is an absolutely feather fisted cruiserweight masquerading as a heavyweight. I'm not sure how that is anything other than entirely factual. Does he even have a KD at heavy?
