    You can’t be serious.
Charlo been inactive for TWO YEARS.

He will struggle with a tune up, FACT, so Canelo will murder him if ge comes straight back into the ring for that fight homie, FACT

Like watching a College Football player murder a high school band member—-Canelo such a risk taker if he calls out Charlo for a September date

I don't care for Canelo or Charlo but the Charlo brothers are turds and it would be great to see them both flushed before the end of the year.

Who comes off a 2 year plus layoff and immediately fights arguably the best fighter in the sport and will be sharp? Of course he needs a tune up. I like both fighters but people will not give canelo any credit for the win because of it. I'd like to see the fight later so the winner gets full credit. Even if charlo had been fighting regularly he would still be the underdog and I would've picked canelo to beat him. It's not an excuse it's stating facts if you come off a over 2 year layoff and are immediately fighting a guy even at your best you'd be the underdog against you're setting yourself up for a bad beating but he probably needs the payday so he doesn't care. Hopefully canelo doesn't end his career.

Exactly what I was thinking. If Canelo fights Charlo with 2 years inactivity he shouldn't get full credit for that. It's not as if he's fighting a Charlo who has fought twice a year up to this point. I hope he goes for Benevidez first, then Charlo at a late time.

Exactly if canelo was coming off a 2 year plus layoff and was talking about fighting an active jermall charlo I'd say he needed a tune up before doing that. It's common sense and is usually always done.

    Great news!

Hopefully we can continue to see big fights being made! All it took was a looming recession to snap some sense into these promoters.

Nothing but love for Canelo. All the years he's given me in entertainment. Large heuves. Me and my dad used to always watch Canelo (and still will) before my dad had dementia and Parkinson's. My second favorite boxing entertainer after Manny Pacquiao. I wish nothing but the best for Canelo, a gutsy young man. "no boxing, no life!"

Why do you always say No Excuses then when you yourself know that sometimes there are perfectly valid excuses?

    Canelo ducking Bivol??

Canelo made his intentions clear, he tried to make the fight with Bivol, but Bivol didn't want none.

There was no excuses for Haney-Loma for taylor- teo tank-garcia all these fights had fighters who were active not coming off 2 plus year layoffs. Any fighter coming off a 2 year plus layoff needs a tune up before stepping in with an elite opponent I would say that for anyone. No way in hell will charlo look sharp being out of the ring that long, it's not going to happen. He knows it to but is only doing it because he's going through a divorce and needs the big payday he's going to get. If he really had his choice of course he would like a tune up before stepping in with canelo as would anyone else in his situation. No excuses is used when you have two active fighters squaring off Fulton-inoue will be no excuses so will spence-crawford or ortiz-stanionis.

And thats where common sense comes in, instead of hating on certain fighters. If Tim Tyszu fought Charlo with a 2 year layoff and got blown out, would that really be the same as blowing him out when he was an active fighter? It's crazy that people don't get it.
