Hope that long face POS gets brutally knocked out and leaves the ring on a stretcher. I really hope the honorable proud japanese don't let this clown leave the country without a loss on his record.
Ban that piece of sh. No one coming 2 divisions over contracted weight should get away with it and especially not allowed to fight probably 3 divisions heavier on fight night after the Nery fiasco in Japan and whoever knowingly unable to get close to target weight in camp and withholds the information to force the other side accepting the huge disadvantage near fight night should get the same ban as those failing a drug test. Its a huge unfair advantage either way. This fight should not be happening and that POS should take a 2 year hike to send professional boxing a message to keep it, you know. Professional.
Total disaster that. He is done at 115lbs that's for sure. I hope, either way, Sirichai Thaiyen vs Daigo Higa goes ahead, that is such a weird and interesting fight.
Its clear they will probably set some clause rehydration clause now for Franco which means if the fight does go ahead he will be fighting on fumes. Seems like he threw this because he knew he was going to get stiffed on the cards again...No attempt was made here to make weight.
6lbs over a 115lb limit is clear that no attempts were made to make weight...something went on behind the scenes and he did not want the fight.
That's not true. It can be a weight cut gone wrong. You can see this stuff on YouTube, you can actually watch weight-cuts go wrong. Sometimes it just won't come off. It's a bit too much to be cutting the week of a fight in a foreign country though IMO. Not saying that's what has happened here, but it is basically what Franco's team have already claimed.
Does it matter how that substance got into your body or how you utterly failed at contracted weight? Imagine Spence weighing in at 162 lbs for Crawford and enter the fight at 190. Not okay, should be punished.
Yeah, agree. Japan are actually best at this. They will tell a guy they are not sanctioning him again at the weight he missed. But it won't matter to Franco, he'll just travel back to America and try again. I'm not saying he should be let off, just this idea that he's definitely done this on purpose is wrong.
Hey I took HGH, EPO, steroids and A-side meth, here's a chunk of my purse now net me beat you into a vegetable.
Japan banning Nery of ever fighting there again AFTER seriously hurting & retiring Yamanaka at huge unfair advantage is JBC actually miserably failing at their job to protect the fighters. How's JBC shaking its fist at Franco come Monday and at the same breath allowing him to beat up legendary Ioka in Hulk mode not azz backwards? At this rate of unprofessionalism Franco should just hand over his title and purse, especially after Ioka, in honor of the rematch he never owed, gave up his own belt. So his options are fight's off and he's down a world title, fight and get badly beaten up and retired possibly suffering long-term physical consequences, or take on a dude a decade younger and 2+ divisions larger and somehow win. Either way, he's screwed over for being a gent and Japan should punish Franco as if he was a drug cheat.
