I wonder how Spence’s old injuries that he sustained during the car accident are going to hold up once Crawford starts teeing off on him. If everything else is pretty equal, that’s something Spence carries with him.
Spence predictable for Crawford to catch I ln exchanges, bud quicker, sharper reaction, longer reach, can Spence handle an exchange for punch for punch when he lands the one he don't see coming Bud switch and bait technique will b perfect for Moby dick
Another excellent video Rummy. Whilst I think Crawford is past his absolute peak, I think he is both better than Spence and that the style match favours him. I have him as a very clear favourite. That said, great analysis, as always.
Spence W via UD. He makes Crawford fight his fight & clobbers him on the inside after overcoming some adversity early on. Crawford is tough & avoids getting stopped - going the distance after being bruised up in the mid to late rounds.
To me sometimes it looks like Crawfords counters are a little slappy like arm punches, they are timed and accurate so well you don’t see them coming but they just don’t look that forceful. If Spence can handle that I hope he walks him down and bust him up. I need to watch that Ugas fight again. I don’t think I’ve ever sat down and watched it close to see how Spence looked but from what everybody says, he looked strong still post car wreck.
Think of Ugas who would have kept moving instead of high guarding and sitting with Spence Crawford will win a close decision if he can box and move for 12 rounds. He'll have to throw a few rounds for stamina reasons and rounds that Spence starts strong. Skills pays the bills. I hope Spence grinds him down though, how do you grind down a man who can stick and move? Is the Rummy curse still valid?
I don't see that. And maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part but I still see Spence taking this.
Another awesome vid, thanks Rummy! I am in agreement with the points made in the vid, also in agreement with the outcome prediction. Crawford wins this one by close, perhaps split, decision.
