Ioka bursts into tears as the decision is announced, crying tears of pure Japanese slickness

Too bad Ioka didn't get the decision the first time around and Ioka wasted his time fighting someone pedestrian like Franco. I want Ioka to fight some of the other champions, preferably Estrada.

Ioka gets the well-deserved victory, the relief on the man's face says everything about how much this victory means to him. Respect to this man for putting on yet another legendary performance when the time called for it most, he's always been great at that.

    :deal:

The judges rendering a robbery draw is one thing but what really confuses me is just how many fans online (a slight majority on Twitter actually) got hoodwinked by Franco's volume into thinking HE was the one that got shafted. :dunno

I said this, just yesterday.

...whereas Franco is for the most part "meh" in rematches.

Damned if I know, I was thinking that myself when I got around to judging it. I was expecting a close match, but found myself utterly perplexed at how anyone could've processed it as such. Here was my scorecard for that one.

    Round 1 Ioka 10-9
    Round 2 Ioka 10-9
    Round 3 Ioka 10-9
    Round 4 Ioka 10-9
    Round 5 Ioka 10-9
    Round 6 Franco 10-9
    Round 7 Ioka 10-9
    Round 8 Ioka 10-9
    Round 9 Franco 10-9
    Round 10 Ioka 10-9
    Round 11 Franco 10-9
    Round 12 Ioka 10-9

    117-111 Ioka

All Franco had to do was actually manage to land a combo or two per round and he'd have probably won it outright.:ohno They go above and beyond to show how unbiased they are, by robbing their on fighters on a far too frequent basis. I still can't wrap my head around that Murata-N'Dam decision.:ohno

It looks like he might have to! Japan is too generous when their home fighters are being fought, it seems. I mean I get tough love and all and I admire them trying to be fair, but they're overcompensatig just a bit here
