The fight would have been OK 5 years ago but now has the feel of Garry Neville's 5 a side team defeating Jamie Carragher's 5 a side team.

Gvozdyk retired after losing to Beterbiev and has only returned recently, outpointing Bolotniks. No reason why he deserves to fight Bivol as he hasn't beaten a top contender since returning. Bivol already beat Joe Smith Jr. Notice how I said "except Beterbiev" (which includes Smith if he beats Beterbiev). Marcus Browne lost to Jean Pascal who Bivol already beat before Browne fought Beterbiev.

Bivol easily has the best resume at 175. I think they are delaying the announcement of his next fight to see if Callum Smith beats Beterbiev.
